I’ve been doing this for a year now and I have learned a lot. One thing I can say is that getting a car that’s worth around $10k at a very good price say $5000-$6000 is actually hard to sell. I’ve had 3 $9-$10k cars and people want to finance, give a check, etc. I now only try to stick to cars valued $4k-$7k for quick profit sales than sitting with a car that’s worth around $10k
Glad I came across this comment, that's good to know. However, don't you need to factor in the location? I live in Montgomery County, MD and people here have money to blow surrounding areas, lots of parents buy their kids vehicles cash/check at $30-$40k - but cheaper ones would probably go a lot quicker than $10k+ like you said even here, easier for people to get financed at $3-7k vs $10k+

Hi Louie, I’m a big fan of yours for the past year. I’m 73 and fell on hard times awhile back I was hit by a impaired driver and ended in a trauma hospital. So I have been shopping for a car and frustrated with the market now. Although I’m not able to flip cars my ears perked up as you spoke about pawn shops and local tow yards, it never crossed my mind. I’m starting my research right now. I will share this with people I know that flip homes as we know how that market is flat. Once again I really enjoyed this. You’re articulate and you edit very well. Best to you Louie
Great information Lucky. I’ve had my dealers license for 1.5 years and started with some of this idea in mind but I have gotten away from it. It’s time to build the system for success. Thank you.
I work at an auction for the past two years I've made great connections with hundreds of dealers new and used how would you suggest to break the ice with them many have talked to me about there trade ins the don't want to put on there lots like 500 to a thousand dollar cars but don't know all the legal stuff and I'm not talking about floor plans and things like that and I also live in another state then these dealers worried if I'll have a lot of problems with the state to state title issues you make great videos I suggest to the people who follow these videos to pay attention every he is saying and to check step by step is a hundred percent correct I watch my boss wholesale 50 to 100 cars a week every week he just won't teach me because it cuts his profits but I am fortunate enough to sit and talk with hundreds of dealers from all over the country twice a week thanks for the videos
Hey lucky. Nice to find this information out there. It's 2 am and I'm just greedy for information. I'll be watching a lot of your videos. I want to start doing this. I work at Manheim Tampa and made good relationship with the people there, i also have my own tools and consider myself a better than average tech, got some body work experience too. Didn't knew i could get a mobile mechanic license to get a commercial account into the parts stores. I hope one day i can get consultation with you, I'm pretty sure i got some good foundation for a profitable business. Just need to put the effort and the investment to grow it . Thank you!
@@HamishCarpenter yes it has been of course but it will admit when I was doing it under my buddy’s dealer license so I could get access to dealer auctions.. it’s a little more work buying from private sellers and public auctions
Yeah the commercial accounts at the parts stores is a game changer. Here in GA, the parts stores don’t ask for verification. They just ask for your business name and address. From my experience, O’Reilly gives the best discount out the gate. Advanced Auto Parts gives the worst discount out the gate. Also remember that you can have the parts stores deliver to your shop for free. If you don’t have a shop, you can have the parts stores deliver to the shop you use. You would just need to make your home store the parts store that’s near the shop.
Hey Lucky could you give tips for moving the cars around and the process of selling them if you dont have a dealer license (dealer plates, registration services) without dealer license would you have to register every car you want to flip?
Waiting on my dealer license app to be accepted. I never would have pursued this if I didn’t have your info Lucky. Appreciate you man. I’ll be signing up for your classes in the near future

Good video bruv ! Is it better to buy one car for £5000 to make £3000 on top, or buy 2 cheaper cars for £2500 each to make £1500 on each ?? Why I ask is the £5000 car usually takes longer to shift, therefore I could be sitting on the car much longer than I want... but the profit is more at once... Which would be the better move to make? Buying German BMW, Mercs & Audi is my preference. Holla bk !

Hey Lucky, great info. A video on how to best utilize a wholesale license would be awesome. Ive been flipping a few cars here and there with some success, I’ve had my wholesale license for a while but the type of vehicles I like (old euro) do not sell well to auctions/dealers, so I end up buying personally and selling private. So some good info on how to take full advantage of a wholesale license would be awesome. Thanks for all the solid content!
Actually, one of the best places to sell off of your old cars is actually Copart and IAA. I sold a Land Rover defender Mercedes-Benz 190 and a BMW E 30 all there you were looking at a larger full of buyers at poster international so they’ll pay more money for your car. There’s lots of collector car, classic car buyers on those auctions. I would run a few cars just a test it you’ll see the difference.

Especially regarding the insurance bond, location, signage and all the other things that must be done in order to secure a dealer license that most people don't know about when they are looking into it. Fantastic video, I just liked and subscribed. Thank you.
I wasnt financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my sixth car already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing is a grand choice I made. Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Very inspiring! I love this
Glad I came across this comment section. I was struggling to decide what to do with a good amount of money in the bank doing nothing. I would be happy if you could advise me, as I am ready to go the passive income path.
@@eadad4371 Alright so generally, investing requires higher knowledge. For this reason, It's important to have a solid support structure (financial consultant) to guide you through especially in asset picking. I operate with (REGINA LOUISE COLLARO) an investment advisor who partners with a licensed wealth management firm. For the record, the experience has been the best for my finance. She is quite popular for her services so you might have heard of her.
She made me financially stable investing through her help, now I earn on a monthly basis through her passive income strategy...So I’ll advise you do get a good Investment advisor for yourself.
@@skoopqueen. That’s great , your investment advisor must be really good,I have seen testimonies of people using the help of investment advisors in making them more financial stable. Do you mind sharing more info on this person?..

I used to do this a lot in highschool (not nearly to this extent) I would buy cars, fix them in my parents driveway and usually flip 1-2 a week if I had the time. Great way to make money. Just picked up a new job where I’ll be working 4 months straight overseas then 4 months off when I get home so I think I’m gonna pick it up again, thanks for the video! Amazing info, really appreciate it.
Great Video!!! Glad you are covering lower end cars, people really need to see that they can buy cars without needing to go into debt! Keep it up!!!
Awesome! Totally awesome! I wasn't even searching for flipping cars but your video caught my eye and now I am a subscriber.
Lucky, great way to explain an honest way to make a good living. I could only imagine if the internet would only offer quality information like this on all topics. 🍀
RIGHT
Hi Louie, I’m a big fan of yours for the past year.
Thank you.
Take your time n keep making mistakes...you will be fine 🙂
This guy is the real deal 👍🏾
I just discovered this guy, and being myself in the car business this man is 100% right ! Great advice !
Great Content Lucky> I love the way you were very sincere and informative. I learned a lot from you. Thank you and God bless you
Thank you!
This is the best flipping video. I learnt soo soo much, much appreciated
So glad I came across this video! Such valuable information from buying, fixing, and selling vehicles you can get in such a short video.
As an intermediate level car flipper who has flipped about 80-100 cars… this is a good video 💪
Is it profitable for you?
Good to know. I have a legal business entity but not a certified mechanic and not interested in becoming one, but I do want to get the parts discount.
Wow! You a IMPRESSIVE!!! SMART! FRIENDLY! KIND! 10-4 from a trash man in Austin!!!
Hey Lucky could you give tips for moving the cars around and the process of selling them if you dont have a dealer license (dealer plates, registration services) without dealer license would you have to register every car you want to flip?
?
yes
Yes and your city limits how many you can sell. You can take the illegal route which is title jumping tho, but I don’t recommend it
Man, as a retired guy, you are telling them how to do it. It ain’t easy, nevertheless your advice / instruction with hard work is golden.
I’m getting my VW license in Florida and can’t wait to get started. Appreciate the information!
Waiting on my dealer license app to be accepted. I never would have pursued this if I didn’t have your info Lucky. Appreciate you man. I’ll be signing up for your classes in the near future
Congratulations what state city are you opening up at?
Do you have to buy commercial property?
not even half way through, and not even interested in flipping cars, but this mans advice is solid!!! only clicked cause I have a dealers license for loans
Holla bk !
11 months has gone buy ... question not answered. How about figuring out for yourself?
Wow, Fantastic video. I was just going for a flip here and there, but now I understanding the building blocks to sustained growth.
Wonderful information, and I appreciate you breaking it down! I'm glad I can still smile at my portfolio of $56,700 that I made from my weekly trade in a short amount of time, even with the recent dip in cryptocurrency.💯💌💯
What is the actual working mechanism of this crypt0 thing and how can I profitably use it?
@@Amelia-oo6xfAs someone who has been investing in stocks, bonds, and cryptocurrency for more than 6 years, I would advise you to start with a seasoned broker who will handle the trading while you keep the profits. I was shocked to learn that, in the last two quarters alone, I had made almost $473k.
@@Dudley18Do you have an idea of any good pro I can start with that's trustworthy and how can i get in touch with this professional you talked about ?
@@Amelia-oo6xfI would suggest Evelyn Jonathan Financial, my present broker. She is currently making a lot of money for me, and her services are excellent. You can probably find the majority of her information online, and you are invited to look into it further.

This is the best video I have seen on TH-cam for flipping cars I'm into flipping cars on my TH-cam channel my downfall is I am putting too much time into them. I need to stop now. The good thing I'm can fix everything myself the downside I want the vehicle to be 100% perfect most people buying cash cars don't care.

I usually avoid videos of this length because I have the attention span of a flea. However, the host has plenty to say that's unrehearsed and based in experience PLUS he clearly is doing this almost constantly or else he wouldn't be able to perform this wordy monologue without really knowing his stuff. Great video.
I don't plan to get into the car flipping business, but this is the most useful TH-cam I've ever seen. Thanks for doing this.
Thank you so much I appreciate the comment
Agree. I’m not gonna do this but this video is epic.
Great info dude, I appreciate you sharing. 😎

Been thinking about getting into it and getting a wholesale license. Been a master technician for over 30 years, so the recondition is simple to me. Really though I have only been thinking about starting off doing one or two cars at a time.
Do it man.I fix my own stuff and do many cars a year and have been since I was 16.
Just sit on marketplace sending tons of offers and you will naturally find deals. Then post them for a price you can’t refuse
First video I’ve seen about this topic that has real world info, great stuff!

You are absolutely the best and this is the most detailed car selling video
I hate it when you inquire about a car in the weeds, or buried in snow (Michigan). They know it needs $2000 in parts and only want to sell it for $2000 less than KBB. Sometimes I check back later, sometimes they can go f#*k themselves lol.
I just watched this from the car dealership I work at currently and just want to say I really appreciate your information and transparency.
Only so many cars to go around. . .for former house flippers.

This is impressive content you have here, There's something I'd always share concerning working with a financial professional can actually help you prepare for life financial struggles. I'm glad I was able to call my coach John Desmond Heppolette since I was actively cashing out from my portfolio and finally made over 370k just in the first quarter while everyone else was crying about the downturn. early this year.
With inflation running at a four-decade high, the Recession is now the 'most likely outcome for the economy and I cannot imagine being a victim of circumstances. I didn’t know what I was getting into but my buddy said it seemed like a good gamble.
Turns out it was 4 different brand tires, one with metal showing, one with a nail, one bald as could be The other half decent.
