Hello Payo, finally I own a Raptor scanner and I'm staring to make practice. The first issue (finally solved) was related to the markers: I was using "old" Revopoint markers and I was not able to make any scan using blue light laser! Always errors "Insufficient Markers" but markers was there. Then I put some "small" Reality markers and all start to work then I realise that the problem was on Revopoint markers not suitable for Raptor! Of course I change all from all markers supports and all work now! ONE QUESTION: where to buy Creality or Creality compatible markers, both sizes? do you have some link on Creality (I was not able to find inside their website markers!) or Amazon that I can use to assure then they will work with Raptor? Thanks in advance for your support! Paolo
I mentioned the markers in this video th-cam.com/video/qd0qd6fgxHM/w-d-xo.html Try searching for 6mm and 3 mm reflective marker, the OD will be 10 and 6 mm respectively. Otter and Raptor use IR to detect markers, Ferret and older Revopoint scanner use RGB instead.
hacks! lol thank you for sharing! Calibration on so many scanners can be a pain. I blame Faro for starting that and letting it be ok in the market.
This is a good idea.
Will print one such helper block as it is indeed hard to keep the correct angle during calibration.
Been able to get 98% by hand with the raptor so far but love a good printed tool
thanks :D
Thank you very muchor this. A great help for the calibration process. Good job :-)
You are welcome!
Good job. Thank you :-)
If theres a Gyroscope in the Otter, why Creality dont just Display the Angle on the Monitor when Calibrate
There's an angle indicator on the screen but it's sluggish.

@@Payo-TensileCreator Great, thanks Payo!
I have always error at the end of calibration, at 95%
If I lean the calibration board. It will fail at the end every time. So I think this might have something to do with an incorrect leaning angle.
