great video. Ive been making those magnetic markers from week one of using the Raptor and Otter. I use the small dispenser rolls of magnetic tape, because it is very thin, compared to the A4 sheets. A 10mm hole punch designed for making gaskets is the perfect size. The trick is to use a "plastic" chopping board, for a clean cut. My process is as follows: 1. Punch out hole in magnetic tape (punch down on non sticky side). 2. Peel off marker and place into the sharp end of punch hole, sticky on sticky (it should fit in the punch perfect). 3. Poke out and free the new magnetic marker via the standard hole punch cleaning method. I hope this post helps. P.S. I was raised on, If you have an idea and don't act on it, someone else in the World will. :)
Good idea! The thinnest magnetic tape I could find is 1.5mm, what's yours? Cost only a dollar for 1cmx1m and I could make like 90+ markers. The puncher cost 3 dollars. I'll try that out.

New software can really nice automatically eliminate flat markers at magnetic tape.
Excellent, thank you!
You're very welcome!
Thanks. Just got them. Appreciate all the work you do.
Awesome, thank you!
Just got this markers from AliExpress and now your video is here. Coincidence? Lol
It's that good, isn't it?
Would be interesting to see a comparison between the auto fill and no auto fill but manual tangent
Manual plane hole filling gives better result in CR Scan software, but to click on each hole is time consuming. I'll try that in my next video.
I just use water color and photogrammetry. Cost me nothing and is just as good quality wise, just might take more time depending on your experience.
Hello, will otter be the best 3d scanner for 3d printing?
Yes, best all-around 3D scanner. If you don't do metal part fitting, it should be fine.
Can you skip the holder and just connect your phone to the otter?
yes
Yes, Otter with a phone and a USB C cable can scan a panel this size.
@@Payo-TensileCreator But if I understand correctly, there is no way to use the phone as a WiFi bridge to make the processing on the PC right?
@piranha1337 that's correct.
