Gee whiz, when this team got cracking -- look out. 12 goals to 3 in the second half after a spirited, free flowing first half. If you lined up every team in 2004 and measured their respective capacities, the Lions were still superior. They were better, in fact, in 2004 compared to 2003. But alas, we know how 2004 turned out.
Couple of things to tick off here: Aker's 200th (watch the left-foot cannon he unleashed to open the scoring); Peverill decks Lions medico Doc McConnell; Bradshaw kicked five in the 2Q; plus the 3Q blitz.
