They buy the pellets from a company that usually ships in plastic boxes 5×4×3. Sucked out by a 3"pipe. Bags are used to change the color of the mix to achieve proper color change. Only a fool asks a foolish question. If you had to do this job you wouldn't be asking foolish questions. Hot, physical and boring would be your life. And you wouldn't waste time on foolish talk. I've worked on the variable speed drives that run the plastic extruder, the pinch roller at the top of the bubble, and the winder that makes the rolls. The process is called "blown film".

I did this job in Taunton Massachusetts years ago. Hot,dirty and unhealthy 12 hours per day. 4 days on 3 days off. Then 3 days on 4 days off. Terrible job and much bigger rolls manufactured. 5' tall 2-3 ft wide. Needing a crane to drop off the machine. No rolls ever taken off by hand.😮😮😮😅😅😅😅😅
I always like to work in a factory. I find it interesting.
The big question I have is.... How do they get the initial hot plastic coming out of that heating section to get up to the upper levels? 🤔

I worked in plastic bag manufacture and I saw the machine run slowly why ? I remember the performance machine run fast 400 bags produce in 2seconds colossal difference the extrusion machine produce 400 tons in one hours .....

3) I believe compostible bags made from bioplastic must use the same process.
FYI I live in a state that banned single use plastic bags and it now seems weird to me when I travel to another state and they try to give me a bag. Eliminating single use bags is a really easy step to take.

The real problem with plastics is that they get mixed in with other trash. Plastic is in itself a good fuel source but not when mixed with food, wood glass and metal waste.
