Are these bags biodegradable?
There is a trend now for biodegradable bags in 2-3 months, they decompose whether you use them or not.
It's an interesting production, and it's an everyday thing.
No these are not biodegradable. Biodegradable ones although environmentally friendly, not as strong as the typical ones and more expensive to produce as you have to use natural polymers like starch. Also there is going to be an expiry date on them as you mentioned which limits the storage and transportation time. So these factors all need to be taken into consideration when thinking about it in a large global scale.
