I really really regretted selling mine.. Was like 20+ years ago. No rc car came close to the reliability of this since.. I used to bash the hell out of it and it never broke.. I ran it through sand, mud, puddles... But the gearbox is so well sealed, it never gave any problems... And something about the duel motor setup, it could go over the roughest stuff. Only problem I had was the really bad run time... But now with lipo, I wish I could find one again

I remember this car and his two weakpoints, the shocks and the chassis. Shocks make him humping and the chassis cant take the 2 Motor Power for long.
But this Things byside it was a rly fantastic car i does mine a carbon chassis and oil filled shocks still running since 2004:)

It’s a shame your selling it so soon, I thought maybe two brushless motors for fun. It’s no Traxxas Stampede 4x4 VXL, but it will be one of the craziest Tamiya twin motor Monster trucks out there. I built mine a little while ago, there is almost no top end speed loss when your driving on mowed grass. So much torque 💪🏼

Love my dagger but mine is highly modified with two titan motors and electronic speed controller that could take two motors. Ball raced, oil shocks. Raised shock mounts for longer shocks and two batteries (modified the chassis for that one). I need to do a resto on it and get some new batteries as I have not had it out and years and I assume the batteries are shot. Looked at hopup parts online lately and nearly died at the prices. Used to be able to get all the aftermarket parts for it for a few dollars each now they are $25+. Glad I modified it when I did.

HBX remade it they called it the Crosstiger and Bonzer. You can also still buy TL01 parts online- enough to complete a wild dagger. I have enough to rebuild mine a few times. (Mostly aluminum) these tl01bs are a blast when you up the voltage! I have a 3000kv brushless, 3s, on extended oil shocks.

@@TAMIYALegends Happened in egress and durga video's too. It's only started recently and sounds a bit like the distortion you get from too much input gain so it could just be a setting in your software but it could just be knackered. Check for those things just in case it's a simple fix. Cool video though weird how it seemed to be so snappy in reverse, it looked faster somehow.
