That's definitely one thing i can't stand about influencer culture: You can have a huge platform and ZERO business sense. If i were an influencer on that trip, i would at least have the sense to understand the assignment and promote Tarte products while I'm there. I am all for speculating about drama lol, but it’s possible that tarte isn’t doing anything shady at all. Room assignments could have to do with the resort’s availability. Maybe the resort’s management assigned the rooms and tarte only had so much input. It’s possible that the influencers who stayed longer simply were able to make it work with their schedules. Maybe those with bigger rooms and/or who stayed longer had more content requirements. We just don’t fully know 🤷🏼♀️ I’m not a huge fan of tarte to begin with but I’m trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.
I think the rooms could be based off of RSVP or their management making sure they got the best rooms I don’t know. I also think the girls might be allowed to pick the room so it might be depending on when they pick the rooms.
Impressions don't always translate into sales or true brand awareness. I don't know a single Tarte product that isn't Shape Tape (notice Spill Sesh wasn't able to say WHICH product was launched at the Dubai trip). I know there's many variations of Shape Tape but I don't know them off the top of my head or why they're different other than I could probably discern there's a difference in finish. I only know Tarte as the brand who sends rich influencers on trips and having a decent concealer, I don't know them for anything else. I am just an average person looking from the outside, but this doesn't seem sustainable.

I think people will always find something to complain about even a nice free trip. Not everyone could get a big room. The place wasn’t built for everyone to get an equal room. Your there you were invited to something not a lot of people, majority of people, can say they have been invited to. That’s something to be proud about. I have never tried Tarte but, I haven’t heard anything from ppl saying that use tarte in their makeup routine either. Tbh brand trips are not really worth it, but for those that go on these trips, good for them. Personally not my thing.

I am all for speculating about drama lol, but it’s possible that tarte isn’t doing anything shady at all. Room assignments could have to do with the resort’s availability. Maybe the resort’s management assigned the rooms and tarte only had so much input. It’s possible that the influencers who stayed longer simply were able to make it work with their schedules. Maybe those with bigger rooms and/or who stayed longer had more content requirements. We just don’t fully know 🤷🏼♀️ I’m not a huge fan of tarte to begin with but I’m trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.
I think the rooms could be based off of RSVP or their management making sure they got the best rooms I don’t know. I also think the girls might be allowed to pick the room so it might be depending on when they pick the

Impressions don't always translate into sales or true brand awareness. I don't know a single Tarte product that isn't Shape Tape (notice Spill Sesh wasn't able to say WHICH product was launched at the Dubai trip). I know there's many variations of Shape Tape but I don't know them off the top of my head or why they're different other than I could probably discern there's a difference in finish. I only know Tarte as the brand who sends rich influencers on trips and having a decent concealer, I don't know them for anything else. I am just an average person looking from the outside, but this doesn't seem sustainable.

These influencers are just normal people that consistently posted on tiktok lol like the girl at 0:45 I remember seeing her vids on my fyp she was really open about actively trying to become an influencer. All her vids were about her trying to balance nursing school & creating content at first. Golloria started out trying out the darkest drugstore foundation shades...and she recorded it on tiktok.
