I just know that shotguns and smg are designed for low range or small medium range, assault are polyvalent and sniper are good for long range ... but that is all. The weirdest thing happened to me. I wanted some population tips and actually had to work backward to find a specific channel to subscribe to because I didn't do it the first time. I signed onto youtube and immediately thought, "shit, I have to go track down that analytical guy"
the funny thing is there isnt alot of videos explaining the weapons! i thought the higher the star rating the more damage the weapon did! (its just for how it handles) How would I know any different? No one has made a video about that subject!
I use to love the Sako and this vid has me wanting to revisit using it, but it's hard to want to continue using snipers when assault rifles are out there lazer beaming at great distances. Sure, the damage may be less, but the fire rate is more and when you are getting pegged over and over in a heated battle, instinct says retreat. Whereas with the snipers, the damage is more, but at the cost of a slower rate of fire and limited ammo drops. Nevertheless, if I can achieve Proper D Sako usage, lol yeah, I'd be down to swap my AR for the Sako again.
Yeah I feel you on that one! And thanks Blues 😁 I tend to cycle through weapon preference myself, sometimes it'll be sako all the way and then I'll just suddenly feel like SMGs for a week. Difficult to decide on what's best, just go with it I guess lol

One more thing, I actually discovered your channel by randomly being put on your team the first week POP 1 went live. Your boy plugged you as the match that we won, ended. I never got to say thank you for that W lol. I believe you had 7 kills, your boy had 4 and I had 1. Literally this was my first or second session ever on the game. I like to think I softened up the enemies for you. 🤣🤣🤣

Is the zoom I'm seeing on the sako something in game, or video editing? I only ask because it took me months to realize the AWP did a 4x and I'm wondering if I'm missing it here too

Sorry for the late response. I'm using the Index controllers here. But far as I know, if you're on the Quest 2, those controllers are pretty much the only option.
Awesome mew! I guess a quick tip would be choosing the fov to record. You can mirror your vr view in steam using a combo of left and right eye view, which gives a nice wide fov which I prefer personally 😉

I like it but I really was only able to develop my magnum skills to being able to use it effectively close range. OR unless I pick it up as a hot drop weapon at the very beginning and shoot someone out of the sky, I kinda suck with it XD

Yeah I totally feel you on that one so much of the VR stuff is! I think there are cheaper heavier and less ergonomic stuff out there but I can't remember what they're actually called. A lot of vrfps discord servers have whole channels of people posting about stuff they've DIY built for themselves too.
As helpful as that may be, I'd still two-hand it because even without high recoil in real life, I prefer more stability by having both hands on a two-handed gun.
I'm kinda on the fence about this. I appreciate the game as the arcade-y achievement that it is, but at the same time I agree there is a pretty clear distinction between one or two-handing all the other weapons; the sako is pretty much the only one where it doesn't make a difference, and maybe it should!🤔

No that's just editing. The steamvr VR view I use makes everything look so small!
