I started working for a company for 4 years as a Community Support but along the way I gained experience in Marketing and Social Media So along the way I gained experience and now I believe when the time is right I could get a better job because I have been on the same salary for last 4 years but bills are getting higher. Its always good to be careful not to get stuck in a job that doesnt appreciate you and pay you what you are worth.

Out of all the great aspects in this video, I appreciated your rate setting section. As someone who has issues with dealing with money & pricing (grew up poor), the cut & dry of this is necessary for me to move through it without my hang ups coming into play. I do avoid using the word “worth” in my mind when it comes to work, I replace it with “value”. Makes it easier for me to keep the topic about business and not personal.

I'm the guy from your webinar on Wednesday that's from a small town in East Texas. We're about an hour and a half east of Dallas and in our area we have tourist towns, homestead and farming businesses, and small art communities. Most of these are small operations with some folks wearing a lot of hats. I'm wanting to niche down to where I concentrate on Facebook and Facebook ads. That seems to be the main problem that folks face and I feel that it's something that I can do well. That's kind of my target, the small town mom and pops that are clueless about social media.

Hey, thank you for your video, is very interesting. I think It's hard to reach to companies as a beginner. A lot of companies need someone very very effective from start, and they would rather pay someone like that, than pay someone who has created a small portfolio on Facebook or Instagram. Second thing is that a lot of companies are looking for someone very elastic, who can do a lot of different things for example many social media platform managing, just whole digital marketing, graphic design. If it comes to the small companies, the owner/owners are managing this, to save costs. And another thing is that it probably make sense to reach out for the companies which don't use fb/instagram, at least we gonna have some chances, to show them how it works, but who don't have instagram and fb nowadays :-D

Really wanna know how to deal with this as a starting profile and don't really know how much you're able to deliver ?

I feel like the best route to most of these freelancing effort tends to always be that the potential client reaches out to you first bad not the other way around. Usually the alternative in my experience is that it’s an uphill battle, so possibly providing useful info and suggestions to leave an email for example would work significantly better. More like warm calls not cold calls, sorta like dating as your mentioned

can you find internships or entry level without a certificate and portfolio? Someone mentioned applying for internships and many can with a different degree but what if you aren’t a current student/no bachelors?
How about building a drop servicing agency with a major focus on SMMA,,,,you secure the clients and use free lancers, agencies or white lable agencies to deliver the service? That does not mean you do not understand SMMA but you understand and can communicate the value to potential clients, sell the service and manage the delivery.
