I designated with "good things will happen". Currently, rent is past due for the first time ever. I am not making a solid income to support my lifestyle as yet, but I know as long as I make action towards my goal, good things will continue to happen. It's been 6 months without a 9 to 5 job and I've decided over the weekend to go into this social media management field. This video is a small action and I will be acting on the steps you mentioned daily. Thank you!
Oh niching down is one of the most important part of being successful with social media managing. However for people that are starting out I usually recommend to try 2-5 niches and see what they enjoy the most. Thanks so much for sharing Latasha
I love the structure of the video. Thank you for segmenting them into topics and giving them separate headings. This makes it easier to refer back to what you said.
I've played this back three times just so I can take notes. I'm a graphic and web designer, and these tips are SUPER useful! Thank you for the high-quality content you provide. I have a question about charging more though. Would you advise having fixed prices for specific project types and publicly displaying those prices?
Thanks, Ashley - so glad it was helpful! Yes to fixed prices/packages. I've found most success in putting ranges on my site (i.e. 'starts at $500' etc)
@@thelatashajames I'm a big fan of what you do! Thank you so much for helping small social media managers like me. You've brought so much clarity to my business. More power to you! 🥰
Great tips, Latasha. These advices will really help anyone to be fully booked! 😉 Auditing your sales experience is really important, glad you raised this up.
Thanks for these great and actionable tips, Latasha :) I think I need to get louder and have a more conversational way of "selling" :) Love your videos
Question for Latasha or fellow SMMs . When talking about USPs. Can a unique selling point be really effective project management skills? I found in my personal experience people really loved either my copywriting skills or how I’m able to take them from vision to execution which ultimately leads to more bookings/website visits
I am starting from scratch and just discovering this video today. So helpful and the tip on raising prices is important. I started at $20 an hour but I realized the work was more $45 than anything else. And guess what. Clients do pay for the additional value. Thank you.

I need 1 more client to become fully booked (for now at least), so this comes in handy!
