I heard a Podcast 3 years ago And Bernard Jackman was asked to name a player for the future watch out for this top class no 10 he's going to become a household Name he said ..... . that guy was Sam Pendergras 👍👍🇮🇪☘️🇮🇪👍

Birch got that from Sexton apparently. He asked Isa Nacewa, when he retired, who was coming through that impressed him, and he said Jimmy O'Brien. He asked the same question of Sexton a few years later, and he said Prendergast... According to a recent podcast Jackman was on.

That scrum against the head in the first half was amazing to watch. Wish Ireland kept that dominance up in the second half. Job done after a thrilling encounter. Prendergast looks a good prospect. Italy will be tough but this young team looks good

I rewatched that a few times myself. Not supporting his body weight, but I think he was and ref got it wrong.
@ciaranoconnor4027 Yeah, think Ref had a good view of it too, so you're probably right.

I also thought that was a tough call against the French, as well as 3:22 there was no clear release from the jackaler and off his feet if we're looking for consistency. That's just from a neutrals perspective.

That dropped restart at the end was unforgivable. No pressure. Nearly handed the game away. Just about managed to scrape it though.

When you see the ref call he made at 7.05, you understand the outcome of the game.
64 points in a game, multiple yellow cards, 7 tries, 30+ players, errors on both sides. But, you think one decision, in one second of an 80 minute game, by the referee is the sole reason for the outcome? Don't be absurd.

Just because we all speak a similar language doesn’t mean for a second that we all ever get along. In fact a lot of folks from Ireland, Scotland and Wales would’ve preferred never to have english as their main language as it’s the language spoken by the colonial oppressors that robbed them of their native tongues. But what would you understand, you only see it in black and white: as french & non-french. And that’s sad, ya should get to know the world a bit better than the way you do at the moment..
