    Ireland have some big units in the forwards. The second rows & that backrow is big, mobile, fast and dynamic. The backs have some serious pace and skill too.

    That's some slick handling from two U20 teams!

    If this is what the future holds for Ireland then it looks to be exciting things to come. They really look a force to admire. Great under 20 stuff from all the nations but Ireland look formidable.

    Watched the game last night. Even when 15-7 down, you kind of always knew Ireland were going to win, they looked more cohesive and their pack were just too dominant. It seemed clear that if they could just stop giving away penalties and free kicks they would pull away, which they did in the 2d half.
    BUT, the best player on the pitch might have been the Welsh 13, he just seemed to cut open the Irish defence every time he got the ball. Ultimately, the aim of U20 rugby is to unearth a few gems that might go on and make a major contribution at senior level. The Irish talent conveyor belt rumbles on, but Wales look like they might have unearthed a diamond.

    What a game. Both sides showing great ball handling skills and pace. Even though we lost to better side in the Irish, there is plenty to build on and some great future potential there. Same can be said for Ireland.

    Great game by both sides, once the Irish pack took control, and Ireland cut out the errors, there was only one winner. Prendergast looks a good prospect at FH

    Lot of very negative comments about the Welsh grass roots system on the videos for the senior game yesterday. I am Irish and these Wales youngsters totally debunk that, they are top drawer in my opinion.

    Ireland used to be doughy looking school boys at this level but we seem to have more oven-ready lads in terms of physicality

    Yellow card? How can you avoid a "high tackle" when the ball carrier is ducking, and diving down to score a try? Madness!

    • @Stephno86
      @Stephno86 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      How could they not give a penno try when a player gets a yellow for fowl play,but the tmo says its not a penno try as they was no foul play 🤔

    • @Dreyno
      @Dreyno ปีที่แล้ว +2

      So, you’re saying that when in the act of diving for the try line, getting hit in the head should be allowed? Because that’s the logical conclusion of that. Going low to score doesn’t mean the tackler gets a pass on head contact. Usually it would be a penalty try as well.
