My new favourite highlight from this match is Wayne Barnes having a laugh with Hugo Keenan about nearly getting in his way during the first try around 3.30
great game from both teams. the 1st half was one of the best played in the 6 (5) nations history. Ireland was not so superior than france, but played smart during key moments. I can't wait to see see them play scotland. go france!
Ireland was much more superior than France because in they second half France were beaten...... they first half Ireland took there pressure and gave it back absolutely knowing the had them nailed in they second
Forget about Lowes try and the drama around it and the tackle, neither is the fault of the Irish team, the French team nor Wayne Barnes. This match should be remembered for, not just a grwat match for the first time in the 6N history between the top 2 ranking teams in WR, but because of Keenan's try, Penauds try and the absolute outstanding try save by DuPont. That try save was, for me, the moment of the entire 6N . I have watched it so many times, i have lost count. I'm an Irish supporter and actually stood up woth so many Irish supporters and applauded DuPont for that tackle. Young rugby players should all be shown this to show that height and the size of the attacker isnt everything and tackle technique, strength and determination can overcome anything. On a separate note, I loved the expression by the commentator after Porter's try, "squeezing a rhino into licra", brilliant
Dupont is built like a brick. Actually for that tackle his height may have even helped him with the lower centre of gravity. A tall fecker may have just fell over.
A la première interception j'ai vu qu'on y était pas, et que tout le match allait etre comme cela, c'est le genre de match où rien ne va correctement, où tout va de travers...bien joué de la part des irlandais, c'était un beau match.
It honestly seems that teams will have to modify their goal line attack 5 meters away so as not to get held up. The Irish were so close so many times. Love both of these teams and their different styles.
As an All Blacks supporter, it will be a northern hemisphere team to win the World Cup this year. Watching the six nations hasn’t been this exciting in a very long time. Well done to both teams. Quick fast pace footy.
you can see that a lot of the French team have experience in either judo or jujitsu by the way they are able to tackle, something other teams could do with.
The tackle by Dupont on Hansen in the 37th minute of the game was completely illegal. He tackled Hansen before Hansen had possession of the ball. While I don’t think that a penalty try should have been awarded there, it should have been a penalty.
Irish absolutely unstoppable against an outstanding french team. What a game!. Irish absolutely unstoppable against an outstanding french team. What a game!.
What really impresses me about Ireland is that they've finally figured out the way to win against the teams that mainly just want to steamroll the opposition with Big Afr!can forwards, American football style (i.e. France, SA & England )
And an Irishman, for me the highlight was Dupont holping up Mack on the line. That's what the 6 Nations is, that desire!

I agree, the James Low try should not be accorded. So many controversial ref decisions one more time.
Agree, had to do a double take when I saw him in the coaching box.
@@dww2024 Unfortunately, it is not enough to have ref decisions impartial for France :( Need one more experimented English Sax referee in the staff maybe.
I thought the same and have asked and he has been there since 2022
@@bluemaverick4268 Yeah instead it should be a penalty try for the no-wrap shoulder charge on James Lowe.
Just love Bundee Aki @ 6:14 - passion for the team and cause
I loved the way Johnny Sexton's son shouted at him "Dad" and Sexton gave him a big hug. His son then looked around as if to say. "This is my Dad!"
That penaud try is wonderful
Proper old school France try 👍
Rugby of the highest order. Sensational!!
@Louis104 he's such a class act, great player
Crikey!! The first half was dramatic enough for a whole game!!
7:29, the assistant referee's reaction to Wayne Barnes' decision 😂
Yes, he felt it should have been a red. However, as an Irish fan I'm happy to have been able to beat France at full strength and not just 14 Frenchmen. Otherwise we would not now be able to measure our team's true form.
@@helenaville5939 good point! It was a great performance.
My new favourite highlight from this match is Wayne Barnes having a laugh with Hugo Keenan about nearly getting in his way during the first try around 3.30
Dupont is a wizard!!
I have been moved by his performance. And so was Hansen.
He really is one of best all time players.
People talk about his height.
But that's a benefit in some respects as he has a low center of gravity.
He is one determined little fker 🤣
He kept France in it!
Massively overrated
great game from both teams. the 1st half was one of the best played in the 6 (5) nations history. Ireland was not so superior than france, but played smart during key moments. I can't wait to see see them play scotland.
go france!
Ireland was much more superior than France because in they second half France were beaten...... they first half Ireland took there pressure and gave it back absolutely knowing the had them nailed in they second
The first try was so good , Lowe catches the ball then starts fixing his hair 😆
What a fantastic game of rugby 🇮🇪☘️🏉
YOU NEVER GIVE A VAMPIRE A TASTE OF BLOOD
Yes he was myopic, or perhaps just colour blind, card should have been red.
Can we get this commentator more often he is so good
You never give a vampire a taste of blood 😂 brilliant game
As a Kiwi, congratulations to Ireland, and DuPont is the French Ritchie McCaw with desire and will.
It honestly seems that teams will have to modify their goal line attack 5 meters away so as not to get held up. The Irish were so close so many times. Love both of these teams and their different styles.
The Penaud try was incredible, the highlights do not do justice to this superb match. 5:35
What a good win for them, well done Ireland.
This & Eng v NZ in 2019 semi best games of rugby I’ve ever seen.
lol
FOR ME RINGROSE TRY THE BEST OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP ! HIS STRENGTH WAS IMMENSE
Merci à toutes et à tous, Joyeux Noel et c'est toujours un bonheur de venir à Dublin et a Grafton
☃️❄️🌲
Scotland vs Ireland is gonna be amazing
As an All Blacks supporter, it will be a northern hemisphere team to win the World Cup this year.
Watching the six nations hasn’t been this exciting in a very long time. Well done to both teams. Quick fast pace footy.
NZ look dangerous
Hope these teams contest the WC final later in the year
you can see that a lot of the French team have experience in either judo or jujitsu by the way they are able to tackle, something other teams could do with.
They still lost..... so maybe they need to spend time getting fitter instead of learning judo.
great game of rug, real high quality
The tackle by Dupont on Hansen in the 37th minute of the game was completely illegal. He tackled Hansen before Hansen had possession of the ball. While I don’t think that a penalty try should have been awarded there, it should have been a penalty.
Bon, va te faire cuire un oeuf... La mauvaise foi est présente, j'le sens mdr
As a sportsman there is no better sensation than winning against a truly formidable opponent .
Incredible defence by France in the first half
Irish absolutely unstoppable against an outstanding french team. What a game!. Irish absolutely unstoppable against an outstanding french team. What a game!.
What a perf by Ireland. Bien battu les Français
We made our revenge
Thank you La Rochelle 😈
Congratulation to Ireland .The best of the world. But mind In france it will be a another story .
An advise of a french friend of ireland.
Great Irlande... in my opinion, the Best. Enven if im french just Great regular game
What really impresses me about Ireland is that they've finally figured out the way to win against the teams that mainly just want to steamroll the opposition with Big Afr!can forwards, American football style (i.e. France, SA & England )
South African....not African...and it worked
