Hey, about that Minecraft release. I don't think it's all that accurate to place it in 2009, as it only was the alpha version of the game that got released, in other words not the completed game. The official release was in 2011, so being a western and 2010's rep works for Steve. :)
For the sake of science, I propose one final challenge: re-calculating Fighters Pass 1 based on the previous data, to see how closely it matches reality.
This would honestly be a pretty good roster. Not just for representation, but also in terms of gameplay. All of the characters have something unique to bring to the table. If big boss were to make it in though, it would definitely be as Venom Snake.

Raiden is from the 2000s, but his series is from the 80s. Problem solved. . . kinda. Also, even though he originated in a Tactical Espionage Action game, Raiden would almost certainly take on his appearance & fighting style from his best-known and loved appearance, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance: Rising is an action hack-and-slash game. However, I think we can definitely let this one slide. Raiden would certainly complete this roster in a more satisfying way, though I can't help but feel that Travis Touchdown would bring a similar gameplay style while being a more exciting inclusion. Oh well; the numbers don't lie.
