That was my very first upgrade before any tires wheels lift etc. Had my correctlync for 3 years now , wheeled 5-6 times a year, no issues no death wobble. No steering stabalizer still drive straight at 75-80 mph. Correct geometry helps a ton lol
Couldn’t you just measure from zerk to zerk on old setup before pulling off to get the new steering spot on what you had it? Great job on the video…shows everything that I was looking for on tomorrow’s install on my 06 TJ.
Once the Dana 44 comes in and we get the front axle taken care of, we will be looking into a hydro assist setup. I will likely get a different box as a part of that upgrade
What size lift do you have and any bump steer issues with your OEM style set up? I was going to the WJ front knuckle/ brake swap for the breaking/ steering upgrade on my TJ but now I'm considering the Currie set up. Every thing else is Currie. Thanks
I know this question doesn't directly pertain to the suspension but what brand or model fender liners do you have? When i bought my 97 TJ it had custom high line fenders with the trimmed out hood so they used rubber sheeting for liners and they ripped on me. I've been looking for metal replacements but haven't found many options that look to be large enough but the ones you have seem to be. So thought i would ask. Thanks.
Yes sir that was a VERY hard hit. I'm running the currectlync too, i love that thing. Great video, thanks!

Correct! They make great stuff
My Nieghbor has an LJ that he flipped driver side tie rod end to top of steering knuckle. Helps him damage it less on trails
I’ve thought of trying that!
Love the Currie steering on the Jeep TJ/LJ platform! It is our go to steering upgrade!
Agreed! RockJock makes some good stuff 👍🏼
I just bought my first TJ after coming across this page a couple months ago. Bought a 2004 5 speed Sahara with 130,000 miles for $7,500.
Love to hear it! Sounds like you got a good deal. I paid $11k for mine about 5 years ago
Good job.
Always like your videos.
Thank you
Thanks!

Now you can send that to a drive shaft balance guy and have him straighten out your old one and have a replacement part ready
Any plans on getting that Mercedes box out of there and going with a Saginaw style

Great video, what rock sliders are those?
Just the motobilt rocker guards

Are those 1.25” or 2” adapters?
Nice TJ
Thanks. They’re 1.25” TJ to JK adapters
Shorts weather there already.
It’s always shorts weather in Alabama lol. Maybe other than January & February
Did you already sell your old wheels and tires?
Yes
What was the offset and backspace?
