I took the Ancestry DNA test. My mother was Anglo and my Dad is Mexican. My results revealed I am 51% British and 19% Native American. Those are my two highest ethnicities. I was surprised to see I have only 3% Iberian or Spanish. As far as Kidnapping is concerned-the story from my Dad is that his father (my grandfather) was Yaqui indian from Sonora and he kidnapped my grandmother. Her parents were from Spain. Sometimes the Indians did the kidnapping!

I just got my DNA results. I am 3rd generation mexican/american. I was 60% European part of it being Italy /Greece and Great Britan. I have watched many videos that were so interesting! Most Mexican's as you say are a mix of Native American and some African. But also European which you didn't mention!

@@EvalogueLife In Northern Mexico there are a lot of non-Spanish Europeans. Lots of UK, German and Swiss. The governor of Sonora is from a Serbian family, I think. Mine has a lot of Swedish and my family had previously moved to Mexico from Kentucky.

You should speak about the north of Mexico! There’s thousands of Mexicans who are 85% or more European. The north of Mexico is still predominantly European when it comes to genetics.
