[9]-As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.) + (1 Corinthians 16:22 > If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.) + What this guy preaches is another gospel which promotes the "consciousness" of "christ" but not the Jesus of the scriptures! + (2 Corinthians 11:13-15 > [13]-For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. [14]-And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. [15]-Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.) + The god he worships is the god of this world. + (2 Corinthians 4:3-4 > [3]-But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: [4]-In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.) + May the actual truth of the gospel and of the scriptures guide you and others to the Lord Jesus!

Considering he brutalized a jedi from the old republic, yeah, it's not just stated its shown
So cere would be at a senior Jedi master?
@@joshpeck9266 hard to see. Her only display in the game is against Vader and its not the most impressive showing. Her dropping a bookshelf on him with the force does more damage than her lightsaber over the course of the fight.
He's also Darth Vader and literally only cares about his former teacher and his offspring, when aware of them lol
Anyone else notice the Death Star easter-egg at 8:40 in Bode's quarters? The white orb on the center table reflects the overhead light to show a white Death Star with its weapons array pointed at you no matter where you walk in the room.
Pretty sure that’s just the light refelecting off the orb. However, I like this easter egg so it passes
Officer: i know what your capable of .. and what your not
Also officer: proceeds to pull out blaster knowing that jedi can deflect the bolts with a lightsaber or just use the force
I mean, clearly he didn't know lmao
i love how cal just casually swats the blaster away using the force in the first scene there, got a good chuckle out of me
Cal hit that “we would be honored if you would join us”
Imagine being the Storm trooper at 16:02 You watch as all your friends get slaughtered in less than 2 seconds and then you get force ragdolled off a platform to your death. Guy was probably kidnapped and trained his whole life just to have that happen lmao 💀
I also love that even after beating the game you go dark side when you rampage. Love to see where that's going into the next game
Facts, some people prefer the initial limit break but you can’t go wrong with those OP dark side abilities. Jedi Mind Melt, Force crushing droids, amplified Force push/pull/lift/slam, and etc. it’s 🔥🔥🔥
I like how cal allows bode to explain himself and doesn’t demean bode too much in front of his daughter. He doesn’t share his direct actions and only explains what he did in a way that doesn’t make him sound like a complete monster, but just someone who made a bad choice.
"You're a Jedi, I know what you're capable of and what you will not...
You know nothing"
When cal pulled out the pistol it gave real “I am no Jedi” vibes
I love the immediate switch from, "You wont kill me, you are a jedi," and right after the blaster, "Alllllright I give up."
Imagine how powerful cal is going to be in the third game.
Somehow I don't think he'll get on force unleashed 1 level by the third game - but he might.
@@PariahRoninnah, force unleashed power level is BS Jedi survivor won't go that far.
@@thephoenix4093 yeah fully, that shit was too OP to the point it wasn't even fun anymore. I think these dudes are smarter than that & know how important it is to stay within the rules of SW.
@@LoLPunky agreed.
@@thephoenix4093 unleashed is still a great game the second was rushed but I beat it like ten times it's great idc and they definitely took ideas from that and implemented it into this
Cal straight up puts an imperial officer into a coma and "hmm yeah" is all he has to say for it. The hottest
I like how after merrin gives her argument to cal on why not to kill him she just stops talking and all I can think is just “I have spoken”
can we appreciate greez, "You want me to fly through a ship eating nebula using 200 year old tech?! Okay i'm in."
"Bode's escaping! If he leaves he'll be gone forever!"
*Stops for an indistinguishable amount of time to meditate*
Huh, the bomber set, the hair and the gun combined gave me a Cyberpunk feel to his look. Pretty cool.
Thank you!
V Kestis
Nero Kestis
Yeah dude the fit and haircut combined with Cal’s demeanor go hard
I find it extremely funny that we need a handrail for anything larger than a gutter, but in the star wars universe with sure death drops they seem to be non existent.
There was actually an audit done on the death star. They failed.
@coolrock3733 🤣
Taking off the beard is one of the worst crimes of all, I’m calling Vader
Edit: you thought I was gonna say something cringe like “mom I’m famous” didn’t you?
Rest assured I put it back on after this. I love it when Cal has that rugged look with his beard/stubble. I felt if Cal was gonna impersonate someone from the military I felt he should look the part, even if it was for a little bit.
@@FrannyD501st I guess that makes sense, but that leaves me to question the hair. You wouldn’t catch an imperial officer with that hairdo lmao
True but I was not cutting off Cal’s hair for that buzz cut look. The closest thing besides the Buzz cut was the crew cut and undercut. I did undercut last time tho
@@FrannyD501st Crue cut woulda been better imo
i think he’s cute without it 🙈
It has taken me all this time to realise the Purge Trooper helmet is a recoloured Clone Wars Airbourne helmet.
Wow, I did not notice that! Little things like that is why I love Star Wars 😮🤓😁
it also looks like the rest of their suit is phase 2 clone armour.
Its really cool how we see Cal shed some of the emotional neutrality and let him grow as a person.
Hopefully in the next game, we see him control his darkness and awaken as a Grey Jedi. Weilding both dark and light, in balance.
As all things should be.
No such thing and the concept always was stupid. You just can’t commit to either side so you hope to skirt the line. You people like to get in here and pretend you’re good people. That’s why you try to justify someone having dark side powers and still being good. It’s a coping mechanism. You’re not good. Quit fucking devaluing the lore with shitty takes like this, you don’t get to have dark side powers just because they’re cool and then still try to pretend you’re this stoic good guy archetype.
Bendu?
15:09 man I was getting a lot of clone war vibes right there from season 7, when the clones try stopping maul from getting to reactor
Cal Kestis like Anakin Skywalker with anger.
*wears one of the highest ranking officer's uniform in front of another officer* "Ahhh, a new recruit?" Also, damn he dark sided that ambush so hard the bodies despawned
Being able to crush droids like that gave me some serious Force Unleashed vibes.
That is a nifty hand cannon our boy's packin'. Ain't no Ace of Spades, but I bet it hurls hurt almost as good in a dust-up.
Starwars x Destiny
You don't have to end him... just end his knee caps. He don't need those.
Holy shit now i realiced why i was so calmed by Bodes voice and why it seemed familiar, its the same voice actor who plays Charles smith in RDR2
“YOUR EXPECTING ME THO FLY THROUGH A SHIP EATING TUNNEL OF 200 YEAR OLD TECH?!” yes, yeah. Ok im in😂😂
From the outfit, to the blaster it gives me cyberpunk vibes 🔥👍
I was so mad when started running, I felt exactly what kal was feeling
It’s crazy how much the costumes change the vibe of a scene! 😃
We should put our hope and trust in Jesus Christ, not antichrist! Which is what Star Wars represents, an Esoteric belief that plays right into Satan's hands and deceives the masses into a false sense of righteousness, that includes lies and deception.
+
The scriptures are clear, that anyone who denies Jesus Christ and Him crucified, is antichrist, or any person who preaches another gospel.
+
(Galatians 1:8-9 > [8]-But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
[9]-As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.)
+
(1 Corinthians 16:22 > If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.)
+
What this guy preaches is another gospel which promotes the "consciousness" of "christ" but not the Jesus of the scriptures!
+
(2 Corinthians 11:13-15 > [13]-For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
[14]-And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
[15]-Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.)
+
The god he worships is the god of this world.
+
(2 Corinthians 4:3-4 > [3]-But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
[4]-In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.)
+
May the actual truth of the gospel and of the scriptures guide you and others to the Lord Jesus!
Wow. So glad I found this video. I have been seriously underutilizing his darkside power. Great stuff. Time for another playthrough.
Appreciate the support! As Darth Sidious once said,
The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.
Have fun and experiment plenty! I recommend Fort Kah’lin. Great spot to fight and grind. 💯😎😈
Man I love watching Cal walk up all gangster and pull that Space Eagle in his face. It's a shame I didn't find the Blaster mode that much fun. It's just that I enjoy the dual blade and dual wield way more than Blaster and Crossguard (I don't even know why tf they added Crossguard, makes me more of a medieval Knight than a Jedi). But yeah, overall it had some great and some very funny boss fights. Like I still remember when I faced the greatest boss in the history of gaming, "Rick the Door Technician"!! He ran yelling he had trained his whole life to kill me, and coincidently, it was one of the few times I was on blaster mode. Gave that a guy a headshot and watched him roll over.
“Stay strapped or get clapped”
- Cal Kestis (probably)
I LOVED this twist so much and tbh I would be so down for a hero goes villain story with Cal like we've seen with Anakin but actually having to play the character ourselves we set out with.
That wrist flick was so disrespectful🤣
"If anyone sees you, it'll blow our disguise."
You're literally dressed in the uniform of the highest ranking officer on the entire base, Cal.
I thought it would be hard for them to give Cal a solid power growth arc with video game mechanics getting in the way I’m so happy I was wrong.
I hate how they act like killing someone out of anger just instantly changes you into a ruthless careless killer of the dark side
They don't my man, the game gives you the dark side tap permanently. They begin the road to grey jedi by having him control his anger, while still utilise it. The game is significantly better when it comes to emotion than others.
@@oldmansamsay1023 yea I understand you have the ability but all im saying is i dont think killing that guy would mean that marin loses cal forever like he would become a totally different human being
@@huh9315 True but it would be unsportsmanlike, gunning down Bode needed to happen because Bode is fully capable of just force choking you, but Denvik was unarmed at that point. It's the same reason the jedi disapprove of Trakata, they may word it differently but it's the same reason the Sith do, "A little bitch, you would be, fight fair, you should, grow a pair, you might."
@@huh9315I see your point, but the idea is that if you kill someone like that, someone who clearly is outmatched and you ruthlessly crush them to death, something breaks in you, makes it feel easier to do again and again. You did it before right? What's one more bad guy? Until you realize how much destruction and pain you left in your wake. It's not that killing one man would make him lost forever, but it would mean the low road has been taken, and may be now taken more in the future. All actions cause ripples.
@niggamancer6985 I mean ya, it's a story with a point it's trying to make using that melodramatic crap. I'm just stating the point outright.
There's something so sad when Bode addresses Cal as his best friend...
The ginger rage is real
I love how if you have an orange or purple lightsaber blade, it looks as if it turns red when you use the dark side
Danvik keep information from Darth Vader....... well that's a bad move buddy 😅😅😅😂😂😂
Damn
Denvik went from "Hey f you" to "I want to apologise" in two gestures.
I love how this game also shows the division within the Empire and how it caused the rebels to have the victories that they have
The second Denvik heard Vader’s name, he knew he was screwed.
24:38 Gosh this made me chuckle so loud. Griz is such an underrated character XD
Damn bro, Cal is such a badass 💀💀
I hope he meets Ahsoka.
I find it funny that the only thing to pull Cal out of this dark place was his shorty and her love the exact thing that the Jedi were supposed to not have. Makes we wonder if this could've helped other sith lords change.
Statistically speaking, no.
me actual reaction when i saw the words "dark side rampage" was
WAIT THERE"S A DARK SIDE IN THAT GAME
also action starts here 14:43
kills hundreds of stormtroopers but then of course killing a named character wouldnt be the jedi way
Uhh ok
so Rayvis, Dagan and Bode lived?
They were armed and were a threat, he should have killed him, but not that way, besides Vader is gonna kill him anyway and worse
Bro the this combo for cal actually looks sick
It is funny to see Cal pretend to be a new, lowly officer when he is wearing the Commander's rank insignia.
Jedi might not be killers as their rules say what they shouldn't do. Just because Jedi can kill sometimes, it doesn't mean they always should. Cal doesn't cate right now, he doesn't have any such weaknesses when he does what he must do occasionally.
That's what differentiates a Gray Jedi from a normal Jedi
@Zero-nv4js Yep. Grey Jedi don't follow the Jedi code nor the Sith ways.
@@jamesplunkett8912 at this point, it should be called anything but a "jedi" or "sith", like force user or something better
@@Daffamalik143 What else is supposed to be called? I pay attention to the Jedi code and ignore the code of the Sith.
@@jamesplunkett8912 honestly i dunno, i am not that deep on the lore of legend or canon. but yeah might just follow grey jedi until they introduce the proper term/name
As every Jedi learns eventually, being a Jedi is easy when you are only involved as some arbiter of justice and not directly affected.
Dark side cal is a fkin MENACE! And I love it 😂
21:51
And here we see Cal channeling his inner Anakin
bro is about to implode him
he's using force crush
I think this is the first video I've seen where Cal's hairstyle actually fits the officer uniform. Literally everyone else makes Cal look like someone dressed up a dog xD
Greez: You want me to travel the ship while risking it all!?!? Count me in, Cal! I'm in
There's just something so intimidating badass and even gangster about Cal pulling out that blaster.
Cal went from jedi to Gangsta 😎
I can’t wait to see what they do with Cals character in the third game he’s my favorite character in Disney’s canon because of how consistently great his story is so far
24:25 had me rolling 😂
Devrik:" You're a Jedi. Jedi have decorum."
Cal: "The Order is gone. Decorum deez nuts"
imagine a series with the same actor reprising the role of Cal Kestis
Cal has unlocked his Jedi Rage
Better watch out Kratos
The white imperial officer outfit is kind of drippy ngl
This section of the game is one of the best scenes in Star Wars games
I love that cal is straped now
14:43 the coolest moment of all times in this game, as Cal uses the dark side for a third time or second
"Don't give in Cal!" She says after he just killed like a hundred people.
swaggiest drip for Cal.....
Bruh went full dark side and showed us he really could be Galen Marack's apprentice
Remember this version of cal only came to be after he survived an encounter with Vader
Anakin would be very proud.
That is where the fun begins
@@darkside9547 Yep. Welcome to the Fun Side.
*Vader
his name is now Vader
@@IamTJDesigns yeah ik but I said anakin because when he was a jedi he let the dark side take control. And cal is a jedi.
Literally an ROTS reference when Grievous taunted Anakin on the Invisible Hand.
Just look at how Cal is still young and baby-faced. Denvik was clearly poking fun at his age 😂😂😂
Everybody gangsta till Cal pulls out the Glock
My second favorite version of cal. Undercut and clean shaven, makes it look like he is only in his early 20s and then the original with his og hair and stubble which makes it look like he's late 20s early 30s.
