Those bàstards got me on a pair of shoes 2 times in a row bidding and then not paying. Ebay has to do something about this!!!
It baffles me when people say selling on eBay is hard. Sourcing is difficult and time consuming. However, if you are consistent and sell products people want or need to buy you will have no problem.
I had a reselling veteran contact me about a receiver I have listed for parts/repair and actually mocked me for the listing. I found it to be very unprofessional.
I listed an item for 170, it had 17 watchers and i was sending out offers about to get it sold. Someone bought it, than asked for a cancellation 5 minutes later. Their account didn't even have an address to it. Ebay relisted it, and now it has been sitting for 2 months with 1 watcher. I looked at the account at a later date and it was deleted. People are so annoying sometimes. I bet i will still have it 4 months from now.
This just happened to me again for the third time on the same item. It's always bidders from China. I'm absolutely livid!
I was selling a computer on eBay that said specifically NO CHECKS . The winning bidder wanted to pay in part by check. I cancelled the transaction after putting up with his bs n gave it to a woman needing it for school.

Wow the messages the buyer sent were literally hilarious. lol
I had an auction lot of like 20 loose 80s Hot Wheels. After it ends I get a message from the winner saying he only wants half of them and to reduce the shipping. I purpsoley did the lot to ship priority. I tell him he bid on the lot as pictured and described and would not do what he wanted. He paid and then left negative feedback because "I overcharged on shipping, poor communication and they were in worse condition than pictured " I appealed to ebay and they removed it based on the messages. But yeah with over 20 years selling there are too many stupid stories.
Someone did that to me with a Free People coat...never paid and now it is sitting there with no interest. Just did an auction on a French Couture dress set and no payment yet...if it happens again, it will be the last auction I do. I can't even figure why people get a kick out of this.

The scam I have had 4 of in the last 2 weeks is they make an offer of the list price instead of just buying it then want me to message them off EBay because they have a question
crazy story on that lot, i havent had a bidder/buyer message me with that crazy of stuff, but pretty darn close. I love the block buyer bidder page. Its at about 60 or so names from potentional scammers, and people who are not easy to work with.

It happens to me at least one a week. I do auctions and no buy it now's at all. It gets listed then two days later someone will message me and say (What's your buy it now price ? ) I am always nice while I fume inside and say : Sorry it's an auction and I am not allowed to do that. lol

I had an interesting auction. Starting bid was for 80 but no bids yet. I got messaged that they were blocked from bidding and could i help them. Their account had good feedback, so i was not sure. I do not block bidders but i do have my settings to auto block unpaid item strikes. I checked that and he had tried to bid 6 times. I decided to exempt him from being blocked since I was not sure the item would get bids any way. Messaged him that he is ok to bid. If you know eBay changes take time to get into the system. The next day he messaged me with 30 minutes to go in the aution that he still couldn't bid. I ignored him and the item sold for $102. The thing I didn't know is in a 3 month period there were 2 pages of blocked bidders. Did I lose some sales or did I save myself some problems?
Just in case you didn't know, the gameboy sp '101' goes for more money as it has a brighter screen. Worth double checking before listing.

I hate when people do this. I just had an Omega watch for sale and some buyer was upset I didn't want to end the listing early and sell him the watch for cheaper so he placed a super high bid and never intended to pay so it was a waste of time. I tried giving the next highest bidder the chance to buy it at his bid but no dice.
The 560 bidder and the other 2 accounts were the same person I believe , he/ she wanted to block the winner bidder by but a higher bid ( 560) se then you cancel it and then you go back to him to sell the 2 asked figures

that dont surprise me some people will go way out of there way to get a item. some people are stupid like that. I had another person want to buy a lot of clocks and he wanted to pick thru my other lots and fill a flat rate box with parts. he said if i buy that lot for 29 dollars at full price would i be able to cherry pick the rest of the clock lots. I have over 150 lots. NO WAY. I had i guy tell me to sell my radio for 40 dollars that's listed for more than double. or he will buy another radio. i was like block and go buy that other radio. he goes and sends me a message after with a screen shot and shows he bought another radio totally different just same maker but old Bakelite radio.
