Dose of useful info: if you sync to the music in the wyvern battle, the black screens dont happen since they dont need to try and sync up to to the fight, i learned this my 4th time fighting him.
That moment when you see your own Tweet talking to Kishimoto xD Also, above the DRIFT control in that Demo Build you can read that it can be used only in Cyberspace levels with DRIFT DASH PANEL.
5:20 Technically that's the Sonic Colors rendition of the drowning theme, but what's interesting is that this is the third mainline game to use that drowning theme. The second game being Lost World.
@@Ultrasonic10 Its a reference to the Scripulous Fingore meme, which had the quote "When asked about the enemy in an interview, Miyamoto disregarded the question, seeming unusually upset." It's not real :(
Yeah I would love for them to make Ouranos as a whole more complete. Boss Fight, events on the island, etc. could make the ending feel so much better. Pretty clear it was all rushed tho :/
The Wyvern is possibly my favorite boss fight, and I never knew it was so busted! 😅 I knew it was a bit quirky compared to the other fights(being able to clip directly through wyverns head at a few points, and the longer loading times after doing a special attack) but I always chalked it up to the game having to quickly load, and unload the entire island you just played on. I always assumed Sonic Team made the mistake of not taking out set pieces, like enemies, rings, etc so the game just had to much happening at once. I've also replayed this game ALOT and never knew how easy it was to clip through the ground, the good old adventure logic came back full swing with this game(is it bad that makes me oddly nostalgic? 😂) I'm rambleing now, I'd love to see more "useless information" about Frontiers, or well any Sonic game. This was super interesting to see. I now know a few things I can try out for laughs the next time I play.
There was actually a little bit of useful information. I never knew that the reason I sometimes got infinite boost for a while was because of creating an infinity logo while cylooping. That makes so much sense in hindsight though! xD
Alright guys hear me out, i think the name ofthesymbol is the name of the soundtrack:stillness and motion. Bc the logoshows 2 mysteroius characters maybe translating to 2 words.
I personally never had a glitched wyvern fight despite beating it several times now, bro fr noclip to trash wyvern. The only boss fight glitch i got was when sonic suddenly fly up really high and back down again during giganto fight. I can't do it again anymore
omg what an awesome video i didnt know about the chaos island arrive scraped dialogue between sonic and the end lol haha (also that bug in wyvern fight at the begining of the video was so crazy haha)
great video! didn't realize it was that easy to clip through the ground haha i have a few useless facts myself! 1. as of update 1, sonic now excitedly yells something when coming out of the start portal in 4-9 2. accumulating 10 mins of playtime in battle rush will begin a countdown and that will result in a time's up! screen 3. in battle rush, the barrier that would usually prevent you from getting up on that mountain right at the very beginning of the tutorial section is removed
I have 0 idea why the dialogue for The End was cut. Would've made sense, and possibly hinted at a different story reason for losing the emeralds than "Laser go pew".
Well actually during extreme mode i get hit by one of those yellow lasers and die! Funny enough when i battle using the hard mode it doesn't effect at all..i was quite confused there.. Idk if that is a bug or not i don't even know but that is the thing i remember during extreme mode (it was hard as hell)
dang so many different things i didnt know 🤯 i need to learn more things please make more! i only learn new things when they are in DawnSR videos. maybe a video about among us? that would be pretty tight! :D (banger video idea gamer hope it does well)
My guess is that caterpillar was meant to be the chase sequence of the final island and was scrapped considering the other chases. And the lonely island may have been part of the scrapped rail puzzles. 9:18 My guess is when you get off the 2D rail the camera lets go. The yellow lasers looks like supreme's attack which you parry but perhaps Giganto had the attack in a beta as well.
Another thing that I'm curious about is that: Kronos Island skip is possible thanks to a hole on top of the invisible dome at the area where you fight Giganto, while it has not been possible to get into the invisible dome where the Supreme boss fight takes place on Ouranos Island ( as attempted here /watch?v=iEYVNQoscLI ). I wonder if this level design, which made speedrunning easier for the earlier islands & harder for the later islands, is accidental or intentional.
My theory is that in dev, they had sort of a first pass on Kronos and Ares and then moved on. Chaos and Ouranos seem more technically sound in terms of being able to break them. I think they were rushed and were never really able to go back and polish some of the stuff they would have with more time. So to answer your question, I think blocking us off later was intentional and they just didn't think to go back and do it.
0:34 I've 100%ed the game 3 times and haven't fallen through the floor once, my first playthrough had tons of exploration and messing around close to cliffs and edges and stuff (especially on Chaos and Ares), is it really that easy?
drifting is one of my favorite mechanics in generations so its sad to see it was cut. people make a big deal about spindash not being in the game but drift for me is a bigger loss.
@@DawnSRC It's at the bridge section where one of the Emerald Vaults is. If you approach the bridge a certain way, you will get stuck at the side of it, and the only way out is to return to the save select
Funny enough. In the files jellyman is actually the name of the groups of the solider enemies found throughout the game. That guy is called aquaball

The drowning theme when inside Jellyman actually wasn’t made for Frontiers, instead being pulled right from Colors.

I remember doing the wyvern stomp thing on stream a month ago
The drowning theme from the jellyman is actually reused from Sonic Colors
I was never able to clip out of bounds in this game.

Might not be useless but
If you boost, hold a sidestep button and stop boosting you keep the boost speed until you stop sidestepping.

Yeah I unintentionally clipped out of bounds like 3-4 times when I was playing casually 🤣 the one shown in the clip is the first one I found.

I found out the clipping in nearly the exact same spot in my first playthrough 😂
We need a part 2
What about the seemingly unused platform area surrounded by deep water on Rhea island?
Oh yeah I forgot about this. Will have to mention it if we make a part 2. Unless they add something there in the updates

It only happens when you’re loading into the fight against the end, since you never save past that point it reverts.
