Ninja Gaiden First Ever! 100% Flawless NES Playthrough [ No Hit / Damage / Death ]

  • Well here it is. The first ever 100% dammageless run of Ninja Gaiden. In this run I complete the full game and take No damage from anything. Unlike other no damage runs I do NOT take a hit from the demon head. I'm able to kill the head before it hits me. Hope you enjoy and thank you for watching.

    I love how those ninjas decided to just keep jumping into the pillar.

    Ah Basaquer, my old nemesis...

    Awww... My favorite enemy, and thus the saddest part of any NG playthrough: the Kelbeross. -At least the one on the right didn't suffer.-

    Speed is important for a ninja, but stealth is the more important skill in an either/or. I love that you get that. Not everyone does.

    The moment that Karl Jobst sent so many of us to see.

    I love how a damageless run was still theoretical even NOT COUNTING the demon head because no one had actually done it in a verified single run AFAIK. So this lunatic did two unmatched accomplishments at once.
    Meanwhile, I never even beat this goddamn game with a game genie lol.

    Whoa That was an achievement!. Being able to beat jaquio 3rd phase damageless is amazing!
    I always thought it's possible if you do Tool Assisted it. But it seems super hard to execute.

      I believe the TAS is where it was discovered. I spent months practicing the demon head kill before I even routed the rest of the run.

    Hi, congratulations , sir. I don't mean disrespect but I saw some other videos saying , "now that we know there's slash canceling , it's possible to deal with the demon's head" , something along the line. But didn't we already know it from day one to hold down when jump slash to cancel and save ninpo points from the spin slash? With that comes to mind. we should know that a machine can slash 50 times in the air within a second and somewhere someone will be able to throw 5-7 slash within a sec sometimes in the future. I get it it takes only you today to make it. But why did ppl always think it's impossible until now and they look suprise upon hearing about slash canceling? Strange.

    • @slackanater6639
      @slackanater6639  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes some people did knew for a while. The TASing communities and speedrun communities are relatively small so even though it was known by some it was not know be the majority of the casual players. Some people did not make the connection from slash canceling the spin slash to attacking more it the air. There is also no way when playing to know if you are even hurting the demons head and can kill it. I think the main reason it was said to be "impossible" is more because of odds. You say 5-7 slashes within a second but its far faster than that. To be sure to kill the head you have to hit 5 presses in .3 seconds. that is a rate of 15 presses a second. Most people will never be able to press a button that fast let alone two. these both have to be presses perfectly together at a rate of 15 presses and you have to start them at the exact right time. It took me days to just get it once. The impossible comes from the high unlikely hood that anyone would ever play through the whole game perfectly and then be able to land that first try. To your point they should have said unlikely but most just said imposable because they believed no one would do it.

    I stil remember the awesome game review to Ninja Gaiden from The Angry Video Game Nerd: "This game is impossible!"
    Slackanater: "Impossible? i don´t know what that means"
