There were at least 2-3 emotionally strong scenes in every film of theirs, which you would want to watch over and again. That is my reason for their success. Two very intelligent people, who worked very well together and left a mark that will remain unmatched. I also believe that Amitabh Bachchan through his personality, acting and conviction, epitomised and brought to life their struggle, anger, frustration, intention, brilliant writing and eventual success, as a consequence of that. It was lovely to see their children and those they wrote for, share and celebrate the achievements of Salim Sir and Javed Sir. Ultimate teamwork!

It's a great tribute to these 2 legends, but unfortunately late also when we don't have great directors like Yash Chopra, Parkash Mehra who made great films on their scripts like Trishol, Kala Pathar, Deewar etc but of course Zanjeer was above all by prakash Mehra which made History for them and Mr. Amitabh Bachan . Even then this documentary will be a great guide for coming generations.
Salim Javed were brave , courageous writers ...but BIG B was the epitome performer who made their dialogues believable no one mentioned his name...without him the Trinity would have been incomplete, shallow and unacceptable at times
I think if you watch Once Upon a Time in the West you will realise scenes have been lifted and even characterisations for instance a character played by Charles Bronson.
