Arbaaz couldn't ask the same question he asked Salim Khan. Regarding the relatively less successful "other sons" as compared to Salman. He should have asked the same question, looking at the success of Salim's son in the film industry vs that of his own son, his opinion and feeling. Of course we all know what he would have answered, but still asking it would have made this interview much better.
Please increase the duration of the show. 30 mins is too short a time listening to legends like Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar. Their witt, intelligence, craft, struggles and rebellions should be told comprehensively. These people are the real motivators or influencers who will remain relevant for ages.

What an amazing show! You just want this conversation never to end. So badly wanted it to be lengthier. What a man of sanity and wisdom! He earned so much respect while talking about Salim Sahab, not a single word of criticism. "I can only respect him. I can't sympathise with him. He was too big for me." Just listening to him will enlighten you on so many things.
One thing I noticed after watching various interviews with many actors, directors and writers was that the old generation was much more knowledgeable, fearless and truthful. Very nicely conducted interview ! Good one ! I always like Salim coz of his straightforwardness , but here Javed too behaved like a nice family member to Arbaaz .

Arbaaz Khan your father must be so proud of you to see what a gentleman interviewer you are. Maintaining respect for the other person while asking questions and not intruding their privacy is not everyone's piece of cake. I think our media should learn from Arbaaz sir how to be a decent human first before sitting infront of camera.
