Well £10000 for the Range Rover would be very nice, but it’s eating no meat where it is, and your almost there, but you must do what is best for you. The place will be pucka, it’s coming along lovely. I thought you both needed a nit of help re a member of staff. I didn’t want to hassle you regarding the Commer Motorhome, but remain interested if and when you fix it.
I'd sell the range rover. And don't blame you guys for going down to two days a week. You both work hard 👍

Rob, don’t change too much on the editing Bud. The thing that everyone likes about Chris and yourself is the realism, it’s like being in the garage with a couple of mates. I also like hearing about Liam, mark etc so don’t change too much. I’m sure loads of subscribers who have been with you a long time will agree. It is miles better now Chris feels comfortable on camera and I know myself how difficult it is to balance work / life so going down to 2 videos per week is understandable. I’ve often thought how the hell do you get time to edit etc 🤣

Agreed. I follow some electricians on TH-cam, and as they've got more successful, their videos have got more "polished", but in doing that, they lose the realism that made them popular in the first place. Yours are just the right balance.

This is a big thing. You don’t owe anyone, it’s your channel. Check out pure living for life who was cyberbullied for years about their channel, it’s not necessary to “listen” to all the comments. If people don’t like it they can lump it and leave.
You two guys need time for yourselves, family, projects, self care. You've given so much info and entertainment and education to us viewers, I don't believe a single one of us will grudge your decision. Keep on keeping on!

I’ve said it before but it’s so great to see genuine salvage rebuilds here in the uk when there are so many bad people in the industry screwing people over with poor workmanship or just outright lies about the car history. You represent 🇬🇧 so brilliantly. Here is to future success.

Don't forget everyone that all this talk of projects is the hobby side of Salvage Rebuilds UK. They still have to work and earn a crust for both of them. The projects are evenings and weekends lol

Guys, me and my husband love everything you do. It's good of you to share your work with us. We love to see your projects and I find Chris' work on bodywork really interesting and very educational. It's made me a lot less reluctant to do this work myself (haven't done it in years, I'm 57 and only rebuild the headlight surround on Fiat 126 when I was 22! Husband does it more often!) Three videos a week was always going to be hard work, and you've done it fantastically well for a long, long time. You both deserve a bit of time to yourselves. Just don't make the editing of videos too slick, we love them just the way they are. Keep it real, warts and all.
I love seeing Chris on video!! I remember when he used to purposely jump out the road but it is good to see more of him. He has a very calming and polite vibe about him
You are 2 guys who do a job which you love and it is your primary income. It was your choice to start posting videos to TH-cam and the fact that you are so likeable, honest and ultimately bloody good at what you do has turned your Channel into the success it has become. I've been watching since Rob's Ferrari and haven't missed a video since. Love the Channel, love the fact that Chris is now so interactive and even if you cut to 1 video per week, I would still be at my PC waiting in anticipation on release day. Been watching this fantastic channel since it started. Loved seeing the various builds over the years plus all the other stuff you guys get up to in the yard; the wood burner, moving the containers around, sorting the scrap, Chris's film memorabilia! I really think you are making the correct changes. I run a business myself and have been amazed from the start how you guys manage to put out so much content. Having a balance between work life and home life is essential. Its hard for us fans but we must understand you both have lives outside of what we see on screen. Getting the new office and some help to run it will make a big difference. My only plea and I am sure I am not alone is do not change the way both of you are. The biggest attraction for most of us is (Rob and Chris) the human side of things , you are both so natural and honest it makes the channel what it is. So thanks guys onwards and upwards

Hi gents, I’m just glad you aren’t shutting up shop completely! The title of the video had me worried this was the end of salvage rebuilds uk on TH-cam. You need a work/life balance, as there is only so many hours in a day in order to squeeze your salvage rebuilds work on TH-cam, and then deal with your personal & family commitments. Just glad this isn’t the end ! 👍🏼
Thanks for the update, I totally get why you are doing the changes. I don't film my work or personal projects because of customer and my own workshop/yard privacy. I don't have the time to do a lot of my own tractor restoration projects either, so you guys are well up to the eyeballs in this channel, work and personal life you are entitled to. I'm starting selling projects I'm never going to get to and going to focus on maybe 2 I can actually enjoy in the summer on rare days off. Take care guys.

I don't think you need to reproach yourselves for reducing to two vidoes per week - you have lives to lead and things to do beyond the channel. I think that we are lucky to be getting two videos per week that we know will be interesting, informative and entertaining all FOC! Seeing your video title got me worried that there would be no more videos. Glad to hear you have taken stock and decided to cut back so you can complete your own projects. You get through so much as it is, that I do not know how you find time. Great honest content as always and that is your USP. Keep up the excellent work and remember that two videos a week is way better then none.
I will echo all the good wishes that have already been given but I wanted to point something out that I realised near the end of the video; you have both grown so much in your on screen confidence and it came to my mind that the occasional video just of you two talking about your lives, your history and the things that interest you would be great content too (think Mortimer and Whitehouse gone fishing).
Totally understandable gentlemen, you need to make time for those other aspects of your lives. You are both tremendously generous with all that you too. Thank you for sharing.

Fantastic update, great to see you’re expanding as a business. Other channels I watch do not release videos to a ‘schedule’, it’s as and when. And to be honest, that heightens the anticipation. Life has got to come first, and I would rather have 1 video a week rather than you guys burn yourselves out and nothing. Do whatever’s best for you 👍

You got me thinking about how lucky we are. Not that long ago all we had was 5 channels of TV and I could never afford satellite or cable. You have brought us an insight into a different world and you are one of my favourite channels. I'm not actually into cars very much but you both make the content interesting for everyone. I'll always look forward to new content but I sincerely hope you manage to find a better work life balance - you deserve it.
