If you are a motorsport enthusiast you MUST go to Le Mans and see the race. since I was a child I'm a porsche fanatic and my dream is to be part of the Porsche team when I will take my engineering degree, so you can imagine what I was feeling during the race and when Porsche won. Le Mans teaches you how hard these guys work and how tough this race is!

What a sick race. I would have never thought that the Porsche#2 could still win, after it was in the box for about 1 hour. It basically won the 24h of Le Mans in 23 hours

Porsche performed the best during the 24 hours. The No.2 car literally never gave up. The team in the pits did everything to keep the 919 going, amazing effort. I love Porsche. Porsche is just the best. You can't argue with that
Le Mans is with Dakkar probably most emotional race. It drains everything from whole team and viewers appreciate it a lot. Just mere duration is intense and you close eyes for hour or two and infront of you there is drama beyond words. Each single Le Mans race is story for itself to listen with admiration to participants. Sorry for bad luck on Toyota and I bet Corvette team learned thing or two this year as well, but in the end this race is against yourself.I also think that this success really translate into Porsche cars. Fantastic balance of performance and durability. Really good cashing in from this success. Cant wait to see production mid engined 911...

This year Le Mans is really unpredictable race. And Porsche give us really important lesson 'Never Give Up' Porsche 919's #2 car and drivers persistence is really respectable.
As someone who was rooting for Toyota, and almost turned the race off after the last one retired from the race, I still cheered for Porsche to take 1st place over all and have that trophy with them again.
Porsche had lots of problems in 2017, 1 car dnf while having only 2 cars, Porsche was slower on pace ... YET they proved again at Le Mans that fighting and being consistent (the best you can) is key ! deserved win !
Great video, but it would be nice if the video had explained the context a bit more. The Winning Porsche in 2017 was at one point something like *200 miles* behind the leader, sat in the pits broken down and going no where. They came back in the race so so far behind by rights it should have just been an extended test run session for them. People will say they won because others dropped out. That's not true. From the moment they got back on the track, they lapped that Porsche on flat out pace right through saturday evening, through the night, through the following morning..even though at that point there was not the remotest chance of winning. They snatched the lead with an hour to go and they would *not* have done so if they had just swanned round on half pace for all that time when victory seemed impossible.
