This video got recommended to me on TH-cam today. I remember how cool it was to finally stand in this area of your house a few years ago and see it all for myself. Rock on Gamester81!!
this is the first gaming channel i ever found and this is the first game room tour i ever watched. 4 years later and i am still so very impressed by the quality of your show, and this collection is absolutely awe inspiring. keep doing your thing yo
Totally amazed by the entire collection of systems. A lot of them i have never seen and ive seen a lot in 49 years. I am sure this collection has even gotten bigger too. Awesome private collection. Great commentary. You know your stuff.
Yeah... specially for having a wife that lets him not only buy all those great things but also keep it at their home. Congratulations not only on the collection (so far) but also for having such an understanding wife.
Never in my life have I seen someone with so many video games. From the very first gaming systems and handhelds to the current. You are and may be the first and only true gamer in the world. It's just truly amazing to see your collection
see. you're the perfect example of guys who don't just throw their lives away, but you got a wife, a nice house, and your awesome hobby. And you're healthy. You are living it up. I wanna have a life like yours. :)
You know, people say he has no life, and they pity him. But think about it. He has a hobby he likes, is financially secure, and makes enough money to pay for it
I think he gone to far. He needs help for this. He looks humble and a overall nice guy. This guy is at Michael Jackson levels. Time to grow up. My advice: Time to look at your collection at face value. Why hold on to a VHS console for 30 years it's only worth $20 today. 75 cents a year.
Unbelievable collection, John. Everything is very well organized, too. I really like the various drawers that have the games for each console. Very cool, man. A nice updated room tour for sure! :)
That's a pretty amazing collection. Love how you have a good amount of old school personal computers, those are pretty key. I remember our portable in elementary school had a Commodore 64 we all used to try and play a Daffy Duck game on.
Maybe an updated game room tour down the line one day? Want to see the new and improved awesome game room and maybe some new collections and decorations you have done for the game room as well. 🎮
Simply fantastic collection and a great video. Thank you for going to the effort of giving us an update. Its great to see where you are now with your collection.
John - just recently subscribed to your channel and am loving the vintage console reviews! Great to see your collection and very informative. Always cool to see the retro stuff and geek out. Awesome channel!!
Thanks John for letting us have a peek at your amazing console collection. It's nice to see that you've been somewhat discerning with regards to your game collection and haven't just gone out and bought every single title you can for each of those machines just for the sake of owning them. It was a real eye opener for me as to just how many different machines there are out there. However, you need some more classic British machines; I didn't see a Spectrum, Amstrad CPC or BBC Micro in there.
i had to watch this video twice just to make sure i wasn't seeing things damn man this is one of the best collection of consoles i have ever seen love your passion for collecting..
Wow, thats is an impressive collection of gaming consoles.. you could easily open a museum and people would flock to see and play all your awesome games
Now THAT is some serious gamer nerd armament!! I've had the Atari 400 and Commodore 64 (as highlighted in this video). Computers/consoles just seemed to be a whole lot straightforward back then!
Amazing man,... I thought I was a gaming nerd. Your knowledge is encyclopedic and watching you rattle off all those titles was seriously incredible. Hope someday my collection is 1/10 as extensive!
i was just imagining me being you showing my consoles and games off. i envy you john. keep making videos about the consoles. i love all the details you give. i often wonder if there are others out there like you who just dont post videos
Outstanding classic collection. I had acquired about half of your inventory until I could no longer justify the space it required. I did keep my Vectrex with complete multicart and custom Vectrex arcade controller, Atari Jaguar w/CD, Dreamcast and original Xboxes (I wish I had kept my NeoGeo AES). Thanks for a great video.
this is extremely impressive!! i wish i had a hobby i took this much pride in.so many people are asking if you ever play them all. i think they don't understand the point of collecting something. it's more about the thrill of the hunt and the pride in your collection, not necessarily in being able to play all those systems all the time. you probably have some favorites that you play once or twice a year, but i bet you play ps3, wii, and 360 the most just like any other gamer.
this blew my mind i would pay to go and see this in person lol the best collection ive ever seen.i had no idea that there was all these different consoles and your wife lets you keep all this even cooler
Very cool collection. It's amazing that a modded Xbox can run an emulator for most of the systems you have there, as well as hold the roms for the entire game library for each system. Technology moves fast.
My social worker at my school said he would have given me his apple 2 pc for free if he knew me the school year before I joined. How much are apple 2's worth? I was like "Bruh" "Why?" I guess he didnt know how amazing they are and that they are classics
I had the Fairchild Channel F, then got the Mattel Intellivision. After that I went to computers with the Tandy CoCo, and then an Atari 800xl and an Atari 520ST. After the ST, I went to PC clones, which I have built every one of them. Then in 1997 I got an N64, which became my last console I ever owned. It was an amazing console, and to this day, has THE best controllers made, IMHO. I am now PC gaming only, and do not like today's consoles, but I miss the old ones like my Intellivision and N64. The Intellivision was and still is my all-time favorite console! Great games on that console! I now have emulators on my PC for the Atari 2600, 5200/7800, ColecoVision, Intellivision, Commodore 64/128, Atari ST, Commodore Amiga, Tandy CoCo, Ti-99/4a, and M.A.M.E. with 325 arcade game ROMs! Emulators are a great way to experience those systems without having to find them on EBay, but they don't let you TRULY experience them in all their glory with their controllers, peripherals, etc. as actually having the hardware like Gamester81 does.
Have you ever thought about putting your games on a shelf where they would be displayed better? The way your systems are displayed is awesome and I think it would be really cool to have the games on display like that as well.
Lol, I probably commented on this a few times already, but I keep re-watching it for motivation... lol... Long time watcher, 3rd time commenter? In any case, love the room....
This is the first video I've seen with a Texas Instrument. That's the first game console I remember playing. I was three and learned to do math with a game called Number Magic. Also had Hunt the Wumpus.
Awesome video! That's an amazing gaming collection! Omg, the Action Max. That reminds me, I have to apologize to my mom or making her buy me that silly thing when I was a kid.
If you were ever to open your museum (gameroom) up to the public, I'd take a flight to wherever you are located to be first in line! I can't tell you how many times I have viewed this video already.
I must have seen this video like 12 times now. Still amazed, you should sell tickets to your museum I for one would make a trip from NY just to see this in person. Might leave puddles of drool behind though...lol.
WHOA! I had no idea that Pioneer was a game console, we have one sitting in our garage and I assumed it was another media center device that Pioneer is more inclined towards. Time to go dig that machine out.
if i woke up in your house after a hard night of partying, I would seriously think I'd died and gone to heaven!! also, it must have been a hell of a night considering I live in the UK!
Absolutely amazing collection, puts most peoples to shame including mine. fantastic video, such an interesting watch and i look forward to seeing more of these reviewed
Jeez! Nice video gamester, loving the mostly chronological order of your systems. Really does make it seem like a museum haha. Any chance we could get a closer look at the mountain Dew xbox at some point? That thing is a wicked shade of green!
That was awesome! I owned quite a few of those myself & still do, but your collection is nowhere NEAR as big as mine (not by a long shot). Have you ever thought about hooking up at least some of the more common consoles to a single TV or do you plan on just keaving them unhooked for display on shelves? I suppose the arcade cabinet has most of the games you'd play on there anyway, or you could keep an Xbox that runs ROMs hooked up to the TV.
Great video, I love how you have the games lined up by year. I am working on a NTSC collection of all systems, so I only need 30ish systems. I am jealous of you Jaguar CD and Adam PC would love to pick those up some day. Thanks for the video.
It's amazing how much you know about these machines, this was a facinating look into the history of video gaming. That Nintendo multi cart system looks amazing, you have a good spread of games how do you decide what to play? :)
Awesome collection. However, I only counted around 100 consoles, unless you are counting Game & Watch and LCD handheld dedicated games as consoles... Either way, absolutely cool collection. Do you have an updated video of your console collection? I'd love to see it.
This video got recommended to me on TH-cam today. I remember how cool it was to finally stand in this area of your house a few years ago and see it all for myself. Rock on Gamester81!!
I wonder if Bruce Wayne has a videogame study that large , 😲😲
this is the first gaming channel i ever found and this is the first game room tour i ever watched. 4 years later and i am still so very impressed by the quality of your show, and this collection is absolutely awe inspiring. keep doing your thing yo
Thanks for sharing! Yeah wives can come in handy in the production side of things
Agreed 💯👍... Understanding Wives = Rare Gems
Awesome Video Game Collection
Never in my life have I seen someone with so many video games. From the very first gaming systems and handhelds to the current. You are and may be the first and only true gamer in the world. It's just truly amazing to see your collection
Game stop will give you $20 for all of that.
lmfao
LOLthats the truth.
🤣🤣
Yes so very true, GameStop doesn't respect vintage game valuation,,,lol
Practically half of those consoles no one has heard of. Which makes your videos, especially this one, awesome. Great video dude!
Fantastic John, its great to see all these in the museum! Camera looks incredible, cant wait to see more!
Absolutely amazing collection John... so happy you took the time to show us your large and unique collection! Great video :D
"This is in high definition" Boom...out of focus...
Dude that's awesome. Keep collecting consoles. Many of these consoles brought childhood memories.
The amount of systems you have always amazes me. Excellent new room tour John, You've added a bunch since the last video.
I appreciate you taking the time to share all of this with us. It is fascinating. Thank you. ~Barry
Great job setting up all those consoles. Quite a feat getting them all on display. Thanks for the tour!
Amazing collection!! Thanks for takin the time to show us bud :D
see. you're the perfect example of guys who don't just throw their lives away, but you got a wife, a nice house, and your awesome hobby. And you're healthy. You are living it up. I wanna have a life like yours. :)

Wow ! This is not a collection............it's a museum.........! Nice.
Dust collection
Value
Unbelievable collection, John. Everything is very well organized, too. I really like the various drawers that have the games for each console. Very cool, man. A nice updated room tour for sure! :)
Dude. Your collection makes museums cry. It's like a Mecca for gamers.
That's a pretty amazing collection. Love how you have a good amount of old school personal computers, those are pretty key. I remember our portable in elementary school had a Commodore 64 we all used to try and play a Daffy Duck game on.
South America at least showed the Master System the love it deserved.
Maybe an updated game room tour down the line one day? Want to see the new and improved awesome game room and maybe some new collections and decorations you have done for the game room as well. 🎮
Pre e-begging days, this is a snapshot in history ;)
remembered those names like a boss
Man your collection is so amazing I watched this video twice!
being a gamer is a fantastic hobby, so glad you're enjoying it too :)
Simply fantastic collection and a great video. Thank you for going to the effort of giving us an update. Its great to see where you are now with your collection.

saw this ages ago, but just had to watch once more, amazing collection John.
i had to watch this video twice just to make sure i wasn't seeing things damn man this is one of the best collection of consoles i have ever seen love your passion for collecting..
Wow, thats is an impressive collection of gaming consoles.. you could easily open a museum and people would flock to see and play all your awesome games
Thank u for inviting me on this retro console journey.
Now THAT is some serious gamer nerd armament!! I've had the Atari 400 and Commodore 64 (as highlighted in this video). Computers/consoles just seemed to be a whole lot straightforward back then!
Dude props for the most amazing console collection i have ever seen and sick game room.
That collection is insane! But it warms my retro gamer heart.
Just found this a little late. Great system collection, like all the pongs and early consoles. Thanks for sharing your hobby!
As a video game player and collector myself, I extremely impressed...I will have to show you my game room that I made from a walk-in closet...
@DeizelMassacre Yeah now it's in 1080p. Thanks for being one of the first to watch.
I can never get enough of that Pioneer Laseractive. Still keeping my fingers crossed I run across one of those someday. Awesome collection!
Lots of obscure ones in there. I plan to get the demo units, a few dev kits, and sega, Nintendo, play station, and Xbox consoles.
Amazing collections mate! The number of systems is crazy!!!
Quite the extensive collection you got there. Gotta say, a very large majority of those consoles I have never seen or even heard of.
I wish there was a video game museum that had all the consoles and pc's from the past but that also let you play every game ever released.
Awesome update man - and I love the Hanzo HCG signed poster. I need one of those!
Epic. And I thought I had a lot of consoles. So neat to be ale to see them all together. It IS a console museum.
@PloPail Actually it was my wife who helped me film this. She has always been very supportive of my hobbies.
I'm very lucky! =)
Great collection. I thought that I was the only one who remembered Captain N'!
No X68000? Beast computer any collector should own.
this is extremely impressive!! i wish i had a hobby i took this much pride in.so many people are asking if you ever play them all. i think they don't understand the point of collecting something. it's more about the thrill of the hunt and the pride in your collection, not necessarily in being able to play all those systems all the time. you probably have some favorites that you play once or twice a year, but i bet you play ps3, wii, and 360 the most just like any other gamer.

You need to get one of the big Apple II's, like a II, II+ or IIe
My social worker at my school said he would have given me his apple 2 pc for free if he knew me the school year before I joined. How much are apple 2's worth? I was like "Bruh" "Why?" I guess he didnt know how amazing they are and that they are classics

I just picked up Diner on the Intellivision, great game.
i liked the fact that you have those computers as well as the consoles, very cool collection
Great video & awesome game room collection. Your collection is very diverse.
Thanks for sharing your game-room.
I don't think anyone needs to tell you how awesome your damn system collection is!!
The Amiga 500 and the Neo-Geo AES had me drooling. Great vid
Amazing collection John! I had no idea the Casio Loopy or Funtech A'Can even existed. I really like the drawers you have to store your games!
Really impressive collection I wish I had the space to collect like this.
Best video game collection I've ever seen!
Awesome! :)
Awsome collection. Brings back loads of memories.
Thanks for the video, John. Really wanted to see an update.
Really well displayed and organized, major props =]
This is the first video I've seen with a Texas Instrument. That's the first game console I remember playing. I was three and learned to do math with a game called Number Magic. Also had Hunt the Wumpus.
Wow very cool collection. Most of them I haven't seen before. Wish I had some of those old consoles.
I watch this video about 2-3 times a week! Seriously impressive collection,.
Wow man you're over average collector and you are the true answer to rare gaming and more. Keep a eye out on upcoming systems and games!!
Why would people hit the unlike button for John's video? It's just a tour!
It could be argued that hoarders, sorry, collectors, like this guy, are a root cause of escalating prices for everything.
Awesome collection. I laughed out loud when I saw your copy of Texas Chainsaw Massacre for the 2600.
Awesome video! That's an amazing gaming collection!
Omg, the Action Max. That reminds me, I have to apologize to my mom or making her buy me that silly thing when I was a kid.
This is so cool, great vid Gamester!
My hero and new favorite youtube channel!

wow amazing great collection and managed to pick up all the games for different consoles.keep up the collecting.
WHOA! I had no idea that Pioneer was a game console, we have one sitting in our garage and I assumed it was another media center device that Pioneer is more inclined towards. Time to go dig that machine out.
I'm not a gamer but still liked your video. very organized, good collection, nice room.
Just subscribed! Awesome video my friend!
Took several ideas for how to store my machines. Keep up the good work.
Greetings from Athens, Greece.
if i woke up in your house after a hard night of partying, I would seriously think I'd died and gone to heaven!!
also, it must have been a hell of a night considering I live in the UK!
Any plans on doing an updated tour? Some people are addicted to drugs--I'm addicted to collection videos :)
Impressive console and computer collection!
I still think you should take your console collection on a roadshow across the US for us all to see!
So awesome Gamester! Would love to game out in there for a weekend.
Wow John ,I own total 4 classic consoles and only one recent gen system , is there a 12-step program for game collecting ,??🎮🎮🎮
Awesome Collection! You need to start a 80's toy or entertainment museum. :)
Absolutely amazing collection, puts most peoples to shame including mine. fantastic video, such an interesting watch and i look forward to seeing more of these reviewed
Wow congrats ... you own some really rare to find consoles.....even more than my collection !! A++ for your collect-addiction :))
Jeez! Nice video gamester, loving the mostly chronological order of your systems.
Really does make it seem like a museum haha.
Any chance we could get a closer look at the mountain Dew xbox at some point? That thing is a wicked shade of green!
unreal, thanks for filming this. awesome collection
