Man, if I never had such a trade-in habit when I was younger, I'd at least have a shelf full of video games. Now I finally broke that habit, I'm trying to collect back my childhood games and hope one day have a video game store looking room ;D

+Bruno Neri i hear a lot of people have the trade in curse. I guess I'm lucky I never have had that. The only time I traded in games was like three one of which was fallout 3 Xbox 360 version and an arcade game of most famous retro kid friendly game. I got like 5 bucks for these games and they said the reason it was not three was I am a long time customer. Never considered trading in games again lol.
you know, i will give console gamers this, physical media is soooooo much better than digital media, while digital is much more convenient, the satisfaction of having that many physical games over digital is staggering.
Dylon Swartwood Well, yeah. Unlike digital media, I can just pop the game in and play (whereas I have to log into my Steam account or w/e to play), I don't have to worry about losing game files (if my PC were to ever reboot or crash), I don't have to run into any downloading errors, and I can wipe my ass with my game discs.
***** steam doesn't need online, you can play in offline mode and all games play exactly the same

GENERAL CHAOS!! Thank you, Alpha! For almost 15 years I've been trying to remember exactly what game it was that me and a couple old friends of mine had played all those years ago! I described it to him a couple years back and he could not remember. Believe me, Alpha. This really brings me joy. That games is SO fun!
This is my favorite game room tour video so far... and i've seen a lot. Metal and video games together kicks ass! I have my consoles the same way... displayed but not plugged in. i plug them in when i need to. my snes and generally my ps2 are always hooked up though (my two fave systems). Its just so much neater OCD rules sometimes lol.

I think I've been watching your channel for 7-8 months now, I 1st saw this long haired angry guy yelling and had to look and see what it was all about. Mike DiLoreto Neo Turf Masters is a great Game. I play it on my Wii in the Neo-Geo Arcade Classics Collection but it's a great Game no matter which version you get (The Classics Collection also had a PS2 release)
lots of those titles take me back to my childhood where my cousin and I would spend weekends together wrapping games like Joe & Mac, Ninja Turtles, and Contra. Keep the vids coming, always a pleasure to watch & listen to rants from a true gamer.

I wish I could be a game collector . I traded in almost all of my PS1
and PS2 games including the consoles themselves and it feels like shit . I
gave my Genesis and all of the games I had for it to my sister when I
got my PS1 . I have no idea where my Dreamcast went , I still have some of its games laying around . And so many consoles and handhelds that I just neglected .
People please take care of your games , don't trade them in or give them to someone who just doesn't appreciate them .Now that I have a job and make a decent living I look back at all the games and systems that I owned which were part of my childhood and I regret losing every single one of them . Now I try to stay clear of these "Game room tours" because they really hurt to watch .
I doubt you'll ever read this Alpha but if you did then you have a real treasure there and I hate for it XD
I wish I had a transporter beam I would just aim that shit right over your house and let it land on top of me , but knowing you you'll probably be transported with them and start pummeling me to death .
My advice, start out small. 1 at a time. Most people started out with one game.
If you're really dying to play these games but can't afford them, just emulate them for the time being. We've gotten to a point in technology where PS1 emulation is good, and PS2 and Dreamcast emulation is playable.
I have emulators. It is NOT the same. I admit it is good for convenience for playing games, but nothing beats having a physical huting of a game and displaying it. It is a super fun hobby and if you don't don't care about a brand new game buy used. I saved a ton of money buying used copies.

You could probably pick up a lot of games super cheap, depends what you want in your collection though

FindingTheEverlight As far as NA releases go I'm only missing 3. Tales of Abyss 3ds, Tales of The World PSP, and Tales of Phantasia GBA. Otherwise I got em all. The only really tough ones to find I found were Destiny 1 and 2, or Phantasia if you want a english snes cart (Which can finally be bought for under 100 bucks and finally came in my mail today! So pumped! Collection nearly complete!)
You have the three games I've been looking for on PS2 for years and years now: Echo Night Beyond, Haunting Ground, and Rule of Rose. I envy you sir. Also lovely collection! Really dig the layout. Hope mine can grow this big some day
Awesome gaming room, you have definitely inspired me to start my own video game collection. i have had everything as a kid but somehow got rid of it all. With my Playstation one bought and my Sega Dreamcast (my favourite console) on the way, I can't wait to really start building up my collection, just hope it's not to late, prices are on the increase and retro video games are tough to come across in the UK. thank you Alphaomegasin for inspiring me :)

Bards Tale all the way. I was in love with Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 1&2, Champions of Norrath R.o.E. Diablo, etc.etc. However, a Bards Tale will always hold a special place in my gaming heart. Great vid.

I do, bought plenty of comics and figures there over the years and used to get a lot of band shirts from there as well back when they had a bigger selection of them
