It just depends on the year. I’ve seen it trout stream clear and also pea soup green. When it’s cloudy something that vibrates and rattles is always a good choice and if it’s clear natural colors are the way to go. Usually in the summer is when you’ll see it more cloudy.
Around that area I’d say it’s more of a walleye pike and smallmouth kind of river. Lots of big cat fish too but as far as musky go there are tons of other waterways that are better. That’s just my experience though
I was fishing a couple mile stretch where it comes out of Lake Winnebago. It’s the Neenah Menasha Appleton area. It’s a pretty cool area to fish with a lot of unique structure because if all the paper mills and dams
please please please give me the coordinates to the second spot you went, I fish at that first location all the time man beautiful spot just wanna expand my fishing locations

Hey thanks a ton!
Was any of this Kaukauna? Beautiful part of the country with lots of good people. 🎣
It is! I think this video started in that area then I worked my way towards lake Winnebago.
Love the Fox. I rarely get skunked. Even drum can be fun to catch. Love not knowing what you'll catch.
Is the Fox always a 3" clarity river or does it clear at other times of the year. It was 3" visibility in early October '24.

Hows the musky fishing around there?
