And what Matt didn't mention, you're going to get the same performance with all the mini platforms that we already have seen. Apples and oranges. Find what you like and run with it
I don't care about changing my ascents electronics, they're great right out of the box. Its 10x better than my fully built scx24 in stock form. I'm running my brushed setup and stock coreless servo until they don't work anymore
I didn't see it offered on there but I know on the big kid tiny truck ESC I think they've got to wait from this but like motor timing usually the timing I set it up to like 20 or 22 and it really helps with that little jump out of the sign mode
Honestly I believe the furitek got it the best and the closest to perfect but there's always gets pretty hot on me and I believe the next one in line is big kid tiny trucks honestly I might try the hobby Wing stuff
@@Gibsonlife573 yeah I may put it in one soon. I feel like any brushless combo runs well in the scx24 with the worm gears. So I know the outcome will be great lol
@@texavon6168 yeah the main reason I don’t run 4s much is I just prefer a much smaller pack. I wired up two 180mah 2s packs in series that were pretty small but still a bit much for most of my performance trucks. I ran 4s on my slayer with fcx axles and you talk about insane!

I feel like my Furitek setup has better drag brake than that hobbywing with the drag brake set at 0 in the Furitek app. Maybe it’s because I have the Hot Racing 20.5:1 gears in my gearbox.
I just tested my A18 on a grip tape board just like yours at a 57 degree angle. Cedar motor, Python RXGT5 ESC, and the Hot Racing gears and it stayed locked in place on that 57 degree board with the drag brake set at 0 on the Furitek app.
Yeah, I think he needs the HR gears or the Injora 24:1 box. The stock ratio is just too tall. No mechanical aid. Furiteks will get hot with high drag brake.
@@stunod-RC Yup, the A18 on the Cedar motor on 3s with the Hot Racing gears is still plenty fast and still has plenty of wheel speed and punch for on the rocks.
@@stunod-RC I kind of prefer the stock gearing. I love the wheel speed. I usually run with my drag on 0 anyway. I don’t mind the roll back. Keeps me from using reverse. Like the old brushed trucks
@@ruuster83 most of my Hobbywing stuff is a little outdated lol. Haven’t had a need for any new stuff in awhile. Thats a good thing tho! My max 5,older xr10 & older xr8s all need the card. As well as the fusions etc.
Yea too big for most rigs, some 12 scales fit it good, but if you want 2 in 1 go for the furitek unity , there's 2 different ones a long one and a short one
the mini komodo is so freaking smooth I absolutely love that setup on my scx24
Good job putting these motors back to back. I know so little about the brushless stuff.

Furitek ftw. Bluetooth built in makes it so much easier. The app works great for settings and firmware updates.

Where did you get those blue rims on the green truck?
If you haven't already, you should try the Python Pro / Mini Komodo on 4S, I'm running the spektrum 300mah 4S, unbelievable combo!

Does the Quicrun motor bolt up to stock Redcat 18 trans?

the EZrun G2S has built in bluetooth for same cost as G2 sensored combos. Max 6 and Max 8 for sure, not sure about max 10
