I've been trying to decide between the plus and the pro. When I stumbled upon your videos. They're extremely informative. Doing an in-depth video between the two would be well received I'm sure. Could you elaborate on the sensor data layout between the two. I wanted to run a full Suite of telemetry. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated and some insight between the two on the sensor layout. Keep up the good videos in your opinion between the two I would greatly appreciate so I can finally make a decision. Thank you!!
I've already done a number of vids on the nb4 and pro sensor readouts and the nb4+ is exactly the same as the nb4 sensor wise apart from the nb4+ can data log like the pro, my advice would be wait for the pro +

Yes I did know that, but what I figured out was the motor extension lead had been wired in reverse polarity. I reversed the leads and the motor works fine. Thank you for responding and I will continue to watch your videos.

The timer function is cool. And it allows you to set a custom throttle input to start the timer. Set it to 90-100% throttle and it just start on you. Then set one of paddles as a reset button.

Thank you for your excellent videos. I'm hoping you can steer me in the right direction. Here is my issue. I have the NB4+ with the FGr4S RX. I need to plug the motor cooling fan into the RX. How do I get power for the fan to turn on?
All the ports of the receiver are live all the time + and - will be the same voltage that the esc is set to
Hi, first of all thanks for your great videos. I have also buyed the nb4+ and have a question which that you might be able to answer for me :) - My car (a mjx hyper go) has a light function and I want to configure this with the noble but unfortunately I can't do it. If i set a button to ch3 or ch4 the light can only be "dimmed" or full light but not completely switched on/off. Do you know, if it is possible that a channel can be switched off completely ? In a older video for the nb4 i have saw that a special button can configure for lights...on the plus version i can't find this function.

So you need to know exactly what signal the lights need, the receiver always provides the same power on the + and - but the lights need to have a 3rd wire in the signal pin, if you look at what you have the button set to if it's working as a 2 position it will only send -100 or + 100 position, find a button/switch you can set to 3 position then you will have -100 0 +100 and this may be what you lights need to be dim off bright :)

I plan on replacing my old one for the new on the sole purpose that i cant stand taking the old one apart just to replace the battery. i feel like i might actually brake the plastic when i do it
It's really easy to swap the battery in any of them.

Is your display bad as well? I'm not sure if it's a display issue or software issue. With mine at 84% brightness it seems to be at its full brightness because once I go higher from 85 to 100% there's literally no difference in brightness, it actually dims down a little more instead. Then I've noticed the 52% mark and 84% mark there's almost no difference in display brightness. It's so odd, so once I go to 53% and up it's slightly less brighter than when I'm at 52% brightness. With my old NB4 when I changed the brightness up or down it gradually changes, but with this NB4+ it does not change gradually and it seems like it gets slightly brighter and then dims then slightly bright again and it dims as I'm trying to adjust the brightness 🤔
This is something I have noticed but only if you keep your finger on the + and not when you go up by tapping the + but if you then back out the screen changes to the correct level I think it's just a bug in the way it increases the brightness if held down but as I say if you back out it correctly sets the brightness at the level you have set it too
@@WTFRCCars mine doesn't corrects the brightness when I back out and go back into the screen. Plus I've noticed it still does the same thing even if I just tap the + or if I hold it down.. I wonder if flysky is aware of that issue and is making an update for it. Plus I notice when you change the theme to blue or red it inverts the colors and you can see the wallpaper is inverted and it looks horrible

There's not a lot init, nb4+ has brighter screen, usb c, bigger battery in handle, trainer mode, head tracking, 8ch, miniz 2 RF mode and 5 extra memories the pro can assign 2 functions to each button, you can use the paddles as momentary buttons, more options to display sensors and 18ch all other features are the same

I got the fly NB4 I have a xmaxx 8s and scx6 how would I get this controller to work do I have to put a new transmitter that comes with it into the car or how it works ? Someone help please thanks
You need to swap out the receiver in each of the rc's to allow the nb4+ to control them

Officially you can't if it's the CN version of the radio

@steverc1986 so if you were to download the update for the EN version to your desktop, then create a shortcut to that update, then edit the target of the shortcut by adding the id string of your nb4+ from device manager on the pc it should flash the nb4+ that is the target to EN, but I have never tried it so wouldn't be able to offer any help in doing it other than the above :)
Is the gbt the same as gpt +. I have gbt noticed the one your showing has color and few extras is it an update or different transmitter. Thanks

I've never had a range issue with any of the receivers so far.

Sure if you want to pay way more for a radio with less features, more expensive receivers, not as good battery life and a lower quality screen go for the m17, the nb4+ beats the m17 in every category even response times but sure m17 is king for you I guess ?
@@WTFRCCars hey genius I race on road and ask anyone it has the best feel to car and I guarantee it will smoke ur little toy transmitter in a latency test , so would futaba, and I have a different lipo for a battery I use and I have wireless charging so chew on that for a little
@midwestboss8808 you know there are pro racers winning with flysky radios, the m17 is not a bad radio at all, but your living under a rock if you think there is any difference between futaba, sanwa or flysky in response times, the flysky radios can run 1000hz servos or even the new ibus2 servos your just butt hurt because for £240 you can get a transmitter that is by any measures equal or better but hay keep telling yourself the m17 is way better but what will be your excuse when some guy or girl hands your ass to you running a flysky transmitter :)
