- It's Friday night, and this week I am going to do some wrenching on a SCX24 and do some chassis swapping!

I have a carbon fiber Goblin under my C10 and absolutely love it. It was the only chassis I saw that I could lay everything out how I wanted to. Plus it has mounts for Carisma shocks, even better!
I'm building a Dementor with short suspension links on both ends to get a really short wheelbase so it fits underneath my vintage 1:25th scale AMT IH Scout II model body. I've also got front axles for both ends so it has 4WS, and a Furitek brushless komodo motor and ESC. I think everything else (almost) is either Injora or Treal. Not quite sure what to do about a receiver/controller yet. Obviously need something capable of running 4WS. Should be fun to see how it turns out.
Should also say that Hardpark owner Chad worked with me a bit to suss out proper wheelbase lengths and what it would take to get there to fit under my model body, so thanks to Chad for that.

This thing is so modified that for me it's not a scx24 anymore!
Call it what you want but not SCX24!
Now it is on that it is very nice, the work done on it is great but yes, it is no longer an scx24.
I speak of course of the 1st, the deadbold is rather soft in modification
That's your opinion 🙂 it's still an scx24 all the parts are for the scx24. You should check out the the RC guy's Frankentruck I believe it's called uncle Buck lol it's got a mix between Enduro24 and scx24 parts
Dude! You don't need all of those fancy skids to forward mount your motor.....with the scx24, all you have to do is flip the whole skid with the trans installed. Then reverse the rotation of the motor. Simple, especially for someone with all of your RC experience....
