Nope not an accessory… If you have the newer 2021 Model 3 with the LED matrix headlights, you get the Tesla text projected as an added bonus in this feature 🤯
It seems that the only difference is now you can easily delete all dashcam video clips directly from the touchscreen by tapping Controls > Safety > Dashcam > Delete Dashcam Clips. We will play around with all the new features and do a detailed video talking about each so will let you know if saving the footage has any changes 🙂

Haha don’t think it’s that fancy but it does detect if there’s anything preventing it from closing 😂

@@EVKiwis Okay thank you. I noticed that it’s easier to delete footage now which is nice but I feel as though a single press to save a video is ideal
@@FLteslacam321 same here. After the update, I was thinking, where's that gone??? Now we can only toot the horn to capture?
@@everusualsuspect I found if you go to controls and tap the Dashcam, it’ll save but that’s 2 more steps I don’t like

The Light Show should be activated from the app instead, in addition to from the internal screen.
Agreed! Would make it so much easier to trigger it. Let’s see if it comes in a future update…
