“ However, it came with some very disappointing, unforeseen consequences. Trans people continue to be reported at higher rates by cisgender members simply for being who they are.” If you had asked trans people at all they could and would have forseen these circumstances. They’ve lives with such indignities their entire lives. This is what happens when you don’t have enough representation in your software development team and users impacted fail to be consulted when developing features. The software for the reporting mechanism needs to do a second analysis to see if there is a pattern of transphobic bias by the reporter. I’m sure a minority of users are committing a majority of the problematic reporting. It also needs to present to the reporting user that if a trans person is being reported that being trans is not a valid reason for reporting and their own account can and will be impacted by hostile misreporting. It’s time to dedicate more full time staff in customer service and software development to rectifying the problem rather than “we’re working to improve” boilerplate. Everyone is always working to improve. What are the metrics of improvement? Let the sun shine in.
@Tinder Suggestion: make up new gender such as "trans" and let people choose whether they want to see such people or not that would result in a lot less angry people reporting trans people have nice day.
And yet trans people are banned on tinder constantly lol all my trans friends talk about how every time they make a profile dudes report them and they get banned like crazy
@@sossaa2962 lmfao I’m sure you mean “biological” cause heterosexual trans women exist. Heterosexual applies to someone’s sexuality. If so that’s fine if you want someone who isn’t trans. However, don’t deny someone that space because you’re not interested. It’s called swiping left and moving on with your day.
To be honest even if you put trans in your bio people don't read bio's and when you confirm with them your trans they replay with, your trans? I'm like yes it says in my bio I'm not saying everyone don't read bio's but a lot of people assume your the one based on your pictures you have on your profile page
@Genevieve Pilz unfortunately tinder doesn't have that. Everyone is all in one category, just mixed together. So, when you put trans in your bio, people just love to point that out like that's the only thing that matters when it doesn't. Sad, but true
I have to ask every person who messages me "have you read my bio?" almost everyone says no, they go read it and come back with some hateful nonsense. If you'd have read it in the first place you never would have messaged me, and we could have avoided this whole thing.
I find it ironic that Tinder made this video at all, considering that when I attempted to use the app I was banned before I even got to finish setting up my account, let alone make any connections. I appealed the decision on March 17th, 2022 and have received no response, other than a request received email with a case number.
Maybe they should make a category for yall and give men the option not to have you pop up in our feed bc if I see a man when I selected woman as my preference u getting reported
@@sammyhain I find this hilarious considering 80% of men on the app don't get matched with women. I am sure ciswomen would love that option for you. Call it the 'hot guy' filter, filter out all the losers.
@@sammyhain I agree. There's many guys who have quit dating apps because there was a lot of transwomen on there who wouldn't tell them upfront they were trans and they were horrified finding out later down the line. Biological sex actually matters to most people.
I dream of a day where everybody is free to be who they truly are without fear. I myself identify as a straight cis man but I am also attracted to trans women. I find trans women to be attractive because they are women and I love women. Being attracted to trans women doesn't make me gay because they're women.
I came across a trans woman on a dating platform. I politely turned her down and appreciated her being up front. She will find someone who doesn't mind dating a trans person. Honesty is so important for dating.
True, honesty is important, and thank you for politely turning her down. I mean one of the reasons online dating is better for me is because when I've tried to be honest about it with partners in the past, in person, even on a first date; they usually reacted with violence. It just feels a little bit safer telling someone online. I mean I would've been okay with any of them just saying they're not comfortable continuing the relationship and ending it normally, but in the three times I've been in a relationship with someone and I've told them that I'm trans; I've had a knife pulled on me, I've been choked and thrown through a window and I've had my apartment vandalized, which would've been okay, compared to the other two; except he killed my cat as well, so that was the worst break-up, I mean what kind of a psycho even does that? I loved that cat and what does a cat even have to do with any of it? So that's why I just don't attempt to date anyone in person anymore, if someone tries to pick me up in public; I just walk away, avoid them like the plague (well, considering the lockdowns, now I avoid everyone like the plague anyway), I know it's rude and I'm sorry to anyone who's felt like crap because of it but I really just don't need to go through that again, I want to keep my current cat safe. I don't use tinder, because it just bans you if you're trans anyway, but with other online dating services at least it's already right there in my profile and it gets it out of the way. It kind of sucks that most of the guys I talk to are in America or Germany, ridiculously far away and it makes it hard to talk with the different time zones, but those relationships already feel so much stronger than the first three because of that honesty and the safety to express it, and once it's out of the way; we're free to talk about so much more important stuff. So thank you very much for being calm and civilized about it, there needs to be more people like you in this world. I mean if everyone I ever met in that capacity could promise not to flip out and kill my cat when I told them the truth; I would feel more comfortable bringing it to their attention before anything else happens.
Annmarie hate to break it to you, but you were born a man, and no straight men want to date men. None. Period. You’re probably a very nice person and there’s nothing wrong with your choice, of course, but straight men don’t want to date transgender.
Hit like if you are straight but decided to learn about the LGBTQ community out of respect?❤❤❤❤ I truly want to get to know them so I can at least understand some of the struggles they go through with the society. I think you all are loved and God bless you
Learning about divergent groups is fine and laudable. But I have found that most of the LGBTP community imagines and embellishes their groups' struggles ... either for drama or political points. They claim that everything is an attack on them, and everything threatens their existence. Come on.
Thank you for such an amazing opportunity! I really felt welcomed by the crew and was happy to tell my part of the story! Projects like this do make a difference ☝🏻
I'm a transgender women I've been struggling my whole life hiding from my family and friends. But I couldn't take the pain in my heart no more. So on 7/31/20 I started my HRT. And now I've been reborn.
You and the rest of the world need to be reborn in Christ Jesus before He returns, which is clearly soon. I'm not saying this in a hateful way. But God makes NO mistakes. We are born male or female, NO in between. You are wonderful just as you are, but God will not accept sin from me, you or anyone else. Be blessed, God loves you & so do I
@@JRenee-Sings really well you just keep waiting for him. You and no one else will never change me. What does it say about judging others? That's what your doing right? How about you go judge killers and child molesters and leave us be. I'm proud to be a transgender women. And your bible thumper ways will never change my sisters.
well well well, how the tables have turned... tinder acts like they accept us but tell me why everytime i make an account, i’m BLOCKED THE NEXT DAY! just because guys report our pages for being trans, tinder agrees with them and deletes our accounts?? that’s messed up and need to be fixed!
out of curiosity are you being transparent on your profile or are you allowing men to think your assigned female at birth ? That may be where the issue lies
As long as you're honest that you are male dressed as a woman, it shouldn't be an issue. Its dangerous to pretend others accept it & can put yourself in harmful situations. Thats not a slam, thats reality & I think too many people do not understand how dangerous it can be to "surprise" your date in bed without advance knowledge.
@@akshatghoshal6098 yeah they dont youre right. Im not demanding they placate to me personally. Ive also read they just dont unban ppl peridot which is so dumb.

Congrats bringing a life into this world i hope the child will be loved unconditionally and treated with humility no matter what they might say or do.
yayyyy!! I love this sm!! I’m in a show with Ashley, and getting to know her and learning more about the trans experience as a cis actor has been amazing!!❤️
The girl with silver hair has so much wisdom, and eloquent. I love her! EDIT: seriously, people who argue down the thread need to chill out. Why can’t we just have more appreciation for fellow human beings and have the common decency to respect each other.
Munroe Bergdorf - I absolutely love her. Check out some You tube clips with her and Piers Morgan. Much respect for her standing up to him bullying her.
Jerid.Mitchell I watched her other video and I feel so bad she’s under so much attack when she’s just clearly trying to make some points. It’s horrible how clashing ideologies can turn people into mob.
@@jeremylee5990 Just courious, but have you ever met or dated a transgender woman, you maybe pleasantly surprised, my BF a womaniser dated many women, then fell in love with a transgender woman ME! We're still together and engaged.
No they don't they actually more aggressive than genetic girls transgender woman it sucks I never date one again I'll be honest I tried once and it felt gay and awkward one tried to forced to suck they penis that's gay
Could never do wigs. They just felt awkward. I've always had a soft feminine voice. So I had it easy transitioning. As for dating. I got involved with escort work. Did it w few years. However it has manipulated me in a way I find no passion in relationships. Dating is more of a transaction than bonding to me.
I once met another escort who said the exact same thing. I think compartmentalization is such a big requirement of the job that it sometimes spills over into actual relationships.
This is a situation I'm in. As a person who enjoys ts or tg females, the only way to find that without fear of judgement is through escort services. It turns it into a fetish instead of finding someone I can come to love & care about. And I think your situation is probably quite common amongst sex workers and even strippers. The job involves all of these intimate interactions that you have to separate your feelings from. How do you bring that back in a relationship? To be close and intune with emotion.
Prostitution will suck the joy out of your life. It begs the question; It is hard enough to find an average man, who wants to date a trans person. Now you are adding an extra barrier, finding a man who will also accept your prostitution history. Then, you have your own issues with having no passion in relationships. My God! You seem set on destroying any hope for a real relationship.
@Junior e39 ///M5 ive seen her twice but shes always in a rush and she doesnt actually come in to my shop else i probably would have shes hot though on screne doesnt give her justice she is stunning in person
Glad you wasted your time articulating your transphobia so well for all to see. Take it up with the AMA, APA and WHO. I’m going to support trans people in their gender identity as do all major professional medical and psychiatric organizations. You’re welcome to do as you wish. I’m trying to convince you of nothing. Trading insults back and forth after you initiated and called me crazy just seems like a waste of time though, does it not?
We're sorry to hear about your experience. Tinder recognizes and believes the importance of being inclusive of all gender identities -- and we're always working to improve. In order to better assist you, please contact us at questions@gotinder.com and our team will investigate.
Yeah I don't understand non-binary and 'agender' identities. I'll try to respect them but I still don't understand them. I understand transgender identity though
🍕 you are very wrong. Please take your negativity else where and open up your mind. This person is not confused. They have found who they truly are and can finally express it. Take a moment out of your day today to do some research and keep your mind open :)
Alice Stemberg keep being brave and standing up to people like in this comment section, you are so important, and don’t ever let anyone else tell you otherwise. You give transgender girls like me hope for the future. You go girl!
Well since your a real girl these boys don’t compare to your real beauty, don’t put yourself down over people on the internet, your beautiful. Also I agree NO COMPARISATION
My trams guy hormones are screaming ✨ P R E T T Y L A D I E S ✨ (I'm gender fluid but probably when I'm older and move out of the house I'm in, ill come out officially as a demi boy)
The only issue I had and still have is that when discovering/knowing whom you really are. And knowing that family members will not accept you for whom you are as a person is very sexiest, degrading and so many other words I cant think of right. See I'm hitting 32 years old and I knew I wasn't the same as others I was 100% different I loved girly feminine things but I wasnt at the time fully aware cause the family I had was or claimed to be very conservative cause like when I told my biological mother at a time I needed to come out she shunned me she was like (you are a man not a woman deal with it) I blame her lack of wanting to have an open mind about personality, mentality vs physicality. Yes all transwomen know that we will never be seen as like an actual woman and in every other womans eyes. They'll say well you cant have periods or you cant give birth to a child so you'll never know what it means to be a woman. With that point of view/aspect in your mind you are 100% correct but at the same time lol I gotta say you are wrong exhibit a when a person goes into surgery for heart transplant they go by what's called an organ doner. What makes anyone think specific organs are salvageable and others arent. Yes we may not have the same time of bone structure but in all honesty everyone's bone structure is 100% different. Transwomen are just as vilified as societal genderd women. We all didnt wish to me born this way so dont victimizes us. Cause I'm all honesty that's very very disrespectful and yes I may not have a pretty feminine face but jesus christ cut me some slack I am a woman just like any other woman. What really gets is when you meet the most manliest woman but yet shes still called miss or ma'am and shes very butch. When you see a transwoman dressed all pretty omg sound the alarm I've also just started hormones and I feel alittle bit abrupted cause most men just keeps their emotions bottled up and women dont lol ever since I start my hormones my behavior and attitude has changed for the good and to others for the bad in their eyes I've been on estradiol for 5 months and spironolactone 6 months. I feel more comfortable in my own reality and it's all thanks to my hormones. I wouldnt be here if it wasnt for them cause living as something I'm not I rather die and alott dont understand that so I live as my true self and I couldn't be more happier. I rather be someone I am and have people hate me vs live as someone I'm not and have people love me.
You’re just discovering that you’re gay or girly. I understand that you feel different, or may have GD, but that doesn’t justify going straight to hormones and chopping your dick off. I feel it would be unfair to me to tell you otherwise. The truth is even a butch woman I can tell is still a woman. There are some trans women (men) who are indeed nice to look at… at first. But once I spot it, once I KNOW that they’re a man, I will always spot it. It’s the same for you. Your pfp is clearly a man with lipstick.
This is making super emotional. In tears. The trials we all go through. I'm not Trans but I feel for these beautiful women who stand in their truth. 💚💛❤️
They aren't women. That's the problem. That's where all the issues stem from .. For now on I'm a God and demand that you and everyone else worships me and only call me God or all mighty. If you don't you're a bigot and I'll report you.
I for one have always believed in inclusivity. Unfortunately, I am a bit late for this age-wise. If I was younger, I would love to date the young lady in the brown cardigan. She's intelligent and she looks great!
Literally I'm currently banned on Tinder, Grindr, and any apps affiliated with said apps. I reached out to both teams with these concerns and was immediately shut down. It's more then just the people on the apps, but the algorithm made by the binary. Now, because I'm banned on these dating apps I can't meet people or go on dates at all now. ITS BEEN OVER 6 MONTHS :/ Guys don't just come up with clear interest in you in person when your different. Most of them need a internet wall to hide behind so I'm SOL. Lol
@@RandomHuTaoSimp - We all know you secretly would, though, even if just a 2 night stand because nobody was asking you. Your own insecurities took over and you became defensive when nobody was questioning you😂
Alexa Justina Leigh you’re beautiful and awesome keep being you you’re more than that I love how these beautiful queens being honest and we’re listening we all have a voice we need to use it amazing story
People are people.. So long as we treat others the way we want to be treated and behave with respect.. ( thinking of how our actions affect others around us) I see no issue with simply being ourselves. I was cheated out of well over 2 decades of my true self because of people's blind judgment and my parent's mentality.. Just be and let be and only judge when it is clear that some deserve to have a problem....
Come on, if you identify as a woman that's absolutely fine and I'd respect that 100%. but the argument that your the same as a biological woman is totally fantasy.
You are saying let people be who they want to be. Problem is there are no limits or boundaries and mens minds are innately evil. Think of a child if you never discipline or set boundaries they will literal selfish monsters.
When other people's children are getting exposed to gender and sex ideology at school. The line has been crossed. The agenda will never be satisfied. And most know it
Or what it’s like to be a blind person trying to use this application to none of them being accessible. And trying to report and request accessibility in the platforms either ignoring you or telling you that they won’t
A bit of advice for transgenders when they are dating: Disclose this information before the date! You will save yourself a lot of grief from yourself. You have to be fair to your date, as well as yourself. If you engage in any sexual activity, even a simple kiss, with a man or woman, that does not know that you are trans, you could seriously get physically hurt. Your date might feel deceived and their response could be harmful.
At least Nine out of ten trans people do that anyways. But thats not the real issue. No one should ever get violent just cus you find out somebody is trans. The issue is that some straight, cisgender men feel like their masculinity or sexuality is threatened/invalidated if they even just associate with trans women. Obviously you should disclose that part of you, but even when we do it, there are millions of men who don’t personally care about us being trans, but then feel pressure from other men because they would think “its gay”
literally no trans person ESPECIALLY trans women hide it from a prospective date. “you’ll save a lot of grief” yada yada…Stop speaking for trans people. We are way more aware of our experience than any cis person can be. trans women know the murder statistics. this stance is exactly like the bathroom opinion that creeps will use it to their advantage. it just DOESNT happen. cis people make up what ifs and make up conflicts where there are none. it’s annoying af bro like trust me WE KNOW
I got blocked and unblocked for many times in tinder because my profile got reported alot by users and the reason is because I stated that I'm transgender in my profile. There are ton of men who are swipped without even bothered to read profile then get mad later or send you hate message before reporting you. You can unmatch if you want, dating is a freedom world where you are free to have your preferences, but reporting profile because they are transgender is ridiculous. If you can't see transwoman as woman then it is fine but you gotta realised that we are human who have same right with you to be there. So thank you Tinder for making this video.
@Mr Lopez Regardless, a third gender has excited as an integrated and respected role in society for tens of thousands of years. Your bigotry is sad because you have queer ancestors that your very blood and veins and genetic code has descended from.
I'm personally a trans man, pre-everything. But these women inspire me A LOT. I can't wait until I'm old enough to start testosterone injections/ to have the surgeries and all that, and the fact these women are still confident in themselves/ are proud of themselves is great to me. Cis people will never truly understand trans issues/ what it means to be trans but the ones who refuse to accept it don't have valid opinions and never will,
I’m pretty sure creating a faux penis from your fore arm and connecting a fake pump to a set of fake balls that’s then sewn on to your vagina is not a way to live. Phalloplasty’s are a nightmare and they don’t pee straight and can’t even be used like penis. You are stuck with permanent urine infections and life time of surgeries and diapers. Give it up Pinocchio you’re not a real boy. The key to happiness is not mutilating your genitals and breasts you will grow up one day and realize there’s more to life than your social media accounts and hating your body.
Thank you for this video as I travel and learn a lot about people as my Chinese wife & I travel to Thailand where gender is not an issue. I also have some family that are transgender but I still respect their choice in life. Who am I to judge another person? Between the gender there is a lot of gray area, but the key is to be kind to one another. Take care.
Oh, gender very much an issue in Thailand. Thai trans women/men can't legally change their gender as can be done in most western countries. Thai trans women also can't legally marry their husbands again as can be done in most western countries. No joint adoption. No access to IVF for lesbians or trans man. Thailand is a LGBT legal rights black hole except for some poorly enforced anti-discrimination law.
@@exnihilo415 You are right about the issues as a whole related to government. I will try to make clearer view. The people in Thailand or the average Thai you would meet on street don't seem to have a negative view of Lady boys or the term third sex which I have heard of, and Thailand I believe leads in SRS. Part of the reason I think is cost, but I wonder why does the Thai gov try to stop SRS being done in Thailand. I am sure the government is making some $$$ in the background. I just see Thai society as more accepting Trans, yet gov & legal don't.
A lack of a negative view is good but not great. There is a reason that none of these basic legal and life protections have been passed yet. It’s because a lack of a negative view does not translate into the existence of a positive view that LGBT people should be treated equally in the law and otherwise in Thai society. Surveys in the Bangkok post bare this out. My wife is a Thai trans woman and while it can only seem like a “government issue” when it isn’t you, I doubt you’d feel the same if you couldn’t legally marry your wife and the law treated her as a male every time you had to interact with a government agency. For all these aforementioned reasons my wife and I live in California and not Thailand, which is better in every score. Hopefully Thailand does right by it’s LGBT citizens eventually. This is something I’ve been dealing with at great effort and cost for all of my adult life and not just casual observation while on vacation. If you have any questions, just ask.
@Mike Westwood That is right. The English spelling varies. The line between trans men and butch lesbians in Thailand is rather blurred, but the “Tom and Dee” communities are quite strong all though Thailand. To my knowledge there hasn’t been a lot of scholarship on traditional thai trans men narratives. There is some scholarship involving lesbians in the royal courts of the past but record keeping has not been good given the tumultuous early Thai history. The book “Gender pluralism in Southeast Asia since early modern times” does cover some in other places in SE Asia. Very much worth reading.
This is beautiful, with a group of incredibly beautiful people! (Especially my good friend Ashley, who is one of the smartest, kindest, bravest, most talented, and, yes, most beautiful people I know!) Thank you for elevating Trans lives!
jben jones nope. We’re not forcing anything on anybody. And for the hundreds of genders, those people aren’t trans. They’re likely parodying us or what we normal trans people like to call ‘transtrenders’ where they see being trans as a trend. We really just wanna be treated like human beings and called the right pronoun, that’s it. You transphobes make shit so much more advanced than they need to be 😂😂
@paul you’re so pressed by the existence of a harmless group of people that you reply to a year old comment lol. And that “oH bIoLoGy” bs has been debunked many times. For example a trans woman has the brain of a cis woman trans men cis guys. I think people like y’all use that to make yourselves feel better about, again, a harmless group of people just trying to live our lives. Pick up a book about trans people and why we exist. Educate yourself. Stop letting yourself be brainwashed TL;DR science says we’re valid and you should educate yourself and stop hating on marginalized people to make yourself feel better. We’re all human at the end of the day
All 4 women are gorgeous and beautiful, so refreshing to see trans women expressing themselves in such a positive way, we need more of this with so much negativity around trans issues.
Just Because you put a dress in doesn't make you a woman. That is an insult to WOMAN! These men that wear woman's clothes are mentally ill and need to speak to a doctor!
4? There's just 1 problem. There are only 3 trans women there. The 3 who actually looks like they transitioned to actually be taken seriously as a woman. Fit in society as a woman. The one "Ashley" guy looks like he is just a cross dresser.
If only you hadn’t banned thousands of trans women because a bunch of idiot guys didn’t read the profile and then got mad and reported them. Yet here you are pretending like this isn’t a thing.
@@randomdude3t I hope so and that it's just not a tokenizing smokescreen. The rationalist in me has I trouble imagining that Tinder has more paying trans accounts than paying transphobic accounts whom would rather that trans people just weren't there at all. Dunno. Maybe they're happy about the status quo of transphobes reporting trans people and them being auto-banned? Tinder could then can sit back and claim to be trans friendly while looking the other way.
I'm a trans woman and a lesbian, 35 years old, and a year into HRT. I wasn't a big dater before I started transitioning; most of the girls I dated were back in high school, during my boymode years. Now that I'm a year into living my truth, I'm thinking of getting myself out there but don't know where to start. Dating other women as a woman is new to me. I'm navigating without a map, compass, or GPS here. Never used any apps; always preferred doing things in-person (it gets me out of the house). Don't have any human kids but I do have a feathered child.
what actually makes woman a woman? what makes me a woman if not my vagina and XX chromosomes? isn't it sexist to say that there's something more behind "being a woman"? because it's sexist to say that dresses and makeup have anything to do with women. women are not obligated to wear dresses and makeup and men can do this, which doesn't make them any less of a men. like, i've always answered to stupid people with gender stereotypes instead of actual brains that your vagina or lack of one doesn't make you obligated to look or behave in certain way. that woman is still a woman no matter how she looks like. she's still a woman because she has XX chromosomes. and my vagina is the only thing that I need to prove I'm a woman. but then suddenly it isn't. it's suddenly transphobic and not enough. if my vagina isn't the proof then what the hell is? maybe I'm not a woman then? please, answer me what makes someone a woman. feeling like one? what does it mean - feeling like one? what if I don't feel anything special expect for my sex biology??? please answer me in a non-sexist way. because wearing dresses does not make you a woman. wearing make-up does not make you a woman. loving pink color (what a stupid stereotype) does not make you a woman. what does, then? it's not like feeling like a horse will make me a horse. not trying to be rude, just very confused. gender is such a stupid thing. why should it even exist and make people uncomfortable with themselves. can't we just treat sex like skin color (thing that we didn't choose and can't change) and don't let it affect our personalities and behaviours in any way? can't we just agree that man can wear dresses if he wants and he's totally ok and valid and not bully him? can we just stop giving gender to clothes, colors, interests and hobbies, cos they DON'T HAVE ONE?
It's the same as any other classification. Things have features and aspects and characteristics. It shouldn't be so hard to call something the name we've given for whatever it is. They want us to live in a world where someone can look at a circle and be like "well it could be a square but it depends on its preference".
Y'all are just uneducated af. First and foremost Biology isn't everything and does not determine everything. its an important part to study and not to be ignored. Its just more complex to assign gender than we thought it is. And there are new advancements regarding this idea. thats fucking science but you people chose ignorance tonight. goodnight
Sex estimation is the process of assessing whether skeletal remains are biologically male or female. Sex estimation is vital in establishing an accurate biological profile from the human skeleton, as sex influences the analysis of other elements (e.g., stature and age). Sex estimation is based on the premise that male and female skeletal morphology differs in size and shape. This difference is referred to as sexual dimorphism. Practitioners distinguish between estimating sex by visually examining skeletal features (nonmetric methods) versus estimating sex using equations based on skeletal dimensions (metric methods). Experienced practitioners can quickly and easily assess sex by examining nonmetric traits, particularly those of the pelvis.
As a transgender woman i had encounters with straight men. Even after all was said and done. He wasn't any less masculine than before had been introduced. Much more polite than gay men in my eyes. Also less aggressive on an intimate level. So i can relate with the straight transgender woman about not wanting to be labelled as a gay man. Because that would feel awkward eloping as two guys.
They really are but I just wonder are they representative of the average trans woman. For me if seems like 99% of trans women just look like weird men in dresses. And no, I don't say that to make fun of them. If anything, that's extremely sad that that's the reality in what we live in. It seems that transitioning isn't even worth it if you wouldn't even look like a woman.
«Be kind, Dont worry so much about gender». We should all be kind, but many people naturally cares about the gender. Most of the population are attracted to opposite gender. Or maybe both genders. The solution is not to say that people should not worry so much about gender. With that being said, I hope dating apps will be easier to use in the years to follow for Trans-people. I also think Trans-people should be open to the person they would like to date about their history of transitioning. I feel like the opposite part deserves to know, and hopefully they are perfectly okey with dating a Trans-person.
I'm happy if you love us, even have a level of preference for us, but please don't dunk on other women in the process, it makes life harder for us and creates division.
Hi Gia! Just wanted to offer a bit of support and positivity for you seeing so many hateful comments. That sucks especially since dating online already has its own struggles on top of navigating everything else. Best of luck and lots of love for you and your journey!❤

For y’all who are anti trans/lgbt, this comments section is not a breeding ground for hate and misinformation. Trans people don’t need your validation or opinion to exist.
I'm gonna share something here I've been wondering lately because yes I'm a cis straight woman and I'm attracted to a trans woman actually. But I still don't really find myself bi or pan, I'm attracted to her "manly" side because she's one of that kind of invisible trans people, sadly not able to change her looks into how she wants it to be like (she's a minor so am I but I still don't want ppl to make fun of what I say I really just wanna know). And the problem is I'm sure many people are going to call me transphobic for that even if I'm not, I just don't wanna lie to myself about my sexuality because I know I'm not attracted to women in romantic or sexual way at all. But the other thing I know that my physical attraction wouldn't be a problem for me to love a trans woman because there comes an emotional connection later and I will start to love this one specific person despite their looks but just for who they are. So yeah that's it I guess lol, I've been just wondering because I haven't heard or found anything about such situations on the internet so far and what people do about it. -yo if someone is really reading this then thank you-
Every single individual should be treated with respect . I am amazed by their strength because constantly living in fear that someone may hurt you just because you are not someone who they think should be is barbaric and their will power and strength it’s amazing . Stay strong
All these women are so beautiful! (I don’t like all the hate this comment is getting, whether or not u agree with the scientifically proven fact that people can be transgender people still deserve respect. If they say they want to be seen as women you don’t have agree with it but you do need to have a base level of respect. Thank you)
@Melo Pineda First of all, they are women, not men. Yes they were born male, but they acknowledge this. The gendered terms "man" and "woman" are not the same as the biological sex terms "male" and "female". To reduce a man or a woman to their sex organs is quite sexist. As to your question about their ability to give birth, does it matter to you? Cis women (born female) can be infertile, or even have undeveloped ovaries, not be able to have kids, and yet they are still women. Again, gender and sex are NOT the same thing.
Melo Pineda I’m transgender. I’m not going to agree with what you’re saying. I respect your opinion however and would ask that you do the same to me. Thank you.
I found my trans gf on a dating site. She was w4m and I wasn’t turned away. Not my first experience, and I am not going to hide it. Though most people don’t need to know my business. We are a very complimentary to each other. We have a hard enough time as a interracial couple.
Wow. Since beginning of time biological men have been tearing women down and now you're letting biological men redefine women. For Christ sakes just give them everything. Men can now even join women hood. That's blind ignorance.
We're always working to improve the Tinder experience for all of our members. To learn more about some of the steps we’ve taken toward inclusivity, please visit our blog post here: blog.gotinder.com/taking-care-of-everyone-in-our-community/
“ However, it came with some very disappointing, unforeseen consequences. Trans people continue to be reported at higher rates by cisgender members simply for being who they are.”
If you had asked trans people at all they could and would have forseen these circumstances.

Yes i argee
why isn't this common sense
At least Nine out of ten trans people do that anyways. But thats not the real issue. No one should ever get violent just cus you find out somebody is trans.
The issue is that some straight, cisgender men feel like their masculinity or sexuality is threatened/invalidated if they even just associate with trans women.
Obviously you should disclose that part of you, but even when we do it, there are millions of men who don’t personally care about us being trans, but then feel pressure from other men because they would think “its gay”

There are ton of men who are swipped without even bothered to read profile then get mad later or send you hate message before reporting you.
@Mike Westwood Sure thing. If you have any more questions about LGBT Thailand, just ask.

what actually makes woman a woman? what makes me a woman if not my vagina and XX chromosomes? isn't it sexist to say that there's something more behind "being a woman"? because it's sexist to say that dresses and makeup have anything to do with women. women are not obligated to wear dresses and makeup and men can do this, which doesn't make them any less of a men.
like, i've always answered to stupid people with gender stereotypes instead of actual brains that your vagina or lack of one doesn't make you obligated to look or behave in certain way. that woman is still a woman no matter how she looks like. she's still a woman because she has XX chromosomes. and my vagina is the only thing that I need to prove I'm a woman.
but then suddenly it isn't. it's suddenly transphobic and not enough. if my vagina isn't the proof then what the hell is? maybe I'm not a woman then?
please, answer me what makes someone a woman. feeling like one? what does it mean - feeling like one? what if I don't feel anything special expect for my sex biology??? please answer me in a non-sexist way. because wearing dresses does not make you a woman. wearing make-up does not make you a woman. loving pink color (what a stupid stereotype) does not make you a woman. what does, then? it's not like feeling like a horse will make me a horse.
not trying to be rude, just very confused. gender is such a stupid thing. why should it even exist and make people uncomfortable with themselves. can't we just treat sex like skin color (thing that we didn't choose and can't change) and don't let it affect our personalities and behaviours in any way? can't we just agree that man can wear dresses if he wants and he's totally ok and valid and not bully him? can we just stop giving gender to clothes, colors, interests and hobbies, cos they DON'T HAVE ONE?
@Ruby thanks, it's pleasant to know I'm not the only one who thinks that way.
No you're right, these men think being a woman is just an aesthetic and silicon boobs
It's the same as any other classification. Things have features and aspects and characteristics. It shouldn't be so hard to call something the name we've given for whatever it is. They want us to live in a world where someone can look at a circle and be like "well it could be a square but it depends on its preference".
It's disgusting to think that these men think that growing their hair out and wearing makeup makes them a woman. What a joke.
Y'all are just uneducated af. First and foremost Biology isn't everything and does not determine everything. its an important part to study and not to be ignored.

The solution is not to say that people should not worry so much about gender. With that being said, I hope dating apps will be easier to use in the years to follow for Trans-people. I also think Trans-people should be open to the person they would like to date about their history of transitioning.

As to your question about their ability to give birth, does it matter to you?
