- In this video, I'm going to be taking you through the day of my FIRST SOLO!
I am currently doing my flying training to achieve my dream of becoming a commercial pilot and in this video, I will be taking you along to see what I did leading up to, and after, my first solo.
Once I arrived at Oxford Airport and completed a quick flight with my instructor, it was time for me to go solo! I was both nervous and excited leading up to it but once I was in the air it was such an amazing feeling and overall a day I will never forget. This was a great day and I had an amazing time so I hope you all enjoyed coming along with me.

Quick question, why do you train in pipe and not in cessan? I heard cessan are better for student pilot
I’m doing an intergrated course for my ATPL and the company I’m doing it with fly DA40s. A lot of other schools also use DA40s and some also use piper or Cessna. Depends the school

@@PilotOli all ya have to remember is,, right hand on throttle means right foot on rudder :))
@@MAGApepe that’s a good way to remember it! I know I need to do it, I just tend to forget in some occasions! Need to make it muscle memory. Also the nerves of my first solo didn’t help. But I’ve flown a lot since then and have been working on it 💪
