OMG I love this video as well as the channel! So far I've barely seen any informative channel about waterloo aviation like this one does and you're literally the first one and I am already amazed by your editing! I geniunely wish this channel to grow mcuh larger and make waterloo aviation more famous! BTW I've been accepted by both Sci & Aviation and Math for 23 fall but I decided to pursue a Math degree, so this channel to me might be the life of myself in another universe lol!

I actually myself want to join waterloo for science and aviation.
so a question I'd like to ask, I get my bachelour in science when I complete the degree but my career in pilot doesn't go well, so can I use my science degree to a get a job in any science field (obv not any but like is it possible)
or its going to be challenging than it already is? like a field like a scientist or smth.
Absolutely! Basically, you are studying two things separately. So you would graduate with a Science degree along with your pilot licenses (FYI you can customize your degree to study specific subjects such as physics, chemistry or biology and much more), so even when you decide not to become a pilot after you graduate, you still have a whole science degree on your hand!

If you require more detailed and updated information I suggest you to navigate through the university website and even contact the university through their appropriate emails (make sure to research all the pros and cons before choosing this program, that way you won't miss out anything :)). Yes, if unfortunately there is anything wrong with your medical, you can switch majors anytime you want.
I love your cute drawing of the plane😂 I am currently in grade 12 and I am applying to Western and Waterloo for aviation. Did you also apply to Western and can you tell me why you chose Waterloo?
Thanks!! And yes I also applied to Western! I chose Waterloo in the end for many reasons, for instance, the distance from my family, the program structure, etc. These are just my personal opinions and a different person might have a totally different view! So make sure to do your research and take your time when choosing your program ;)
I’d recommend looking into other schools in Ontario like Confederation or Sault College as well

I would like to go into the science and aviation program at Waterloo, I am also currently in training for a PPL and will likely have it by the time I start first year. Do you think it is still worth it to go to Waterloo for aviation or do you think it is better to do a different course and flight training independently of university education to get CPL, IFR, multi engine, multi crew, etc. licenses and ratings?
That is totally up to you, but just to let you know, a fair amount of people in our program have their ppl done already at the start of the first year, and they will be starting their CPL and night training right off the bat. So if you end up getting into this program, you're not the only one with their ppl in first year. I hope that answers your question!

What was the required average for each subject
The admission average is in the mid-80s according to the uWaterloo Aviation program website (FYI, I got in with a mid-90s)

Is there any scholarship available for this program?
Yep there is! There are entrance scholarships for high admission averages which you will be automatically awarded if eligible, and I believe there are also some other scholarships that you could apply to.
