Sir, i have the same, identical lathe Einhell MBT3000 from 2006, i still use it happily, i had to go on with a lot of improvements, and had also some important faults that i repaired by myself ; it's a chinese lathe, not perfect at the beginning, but sold at a very low cost. I also bought a lot of add-on's, and now i can do all can be done with a lathe ... tapers, threadings ( metric, withworth and "module" types ... ), and so on ...
If you have any problem, don't miss to contact me, i can give you some suggests ...
My best greetings from Italy ...

Uhm ... i see you desmontled all the parts ... when you are going to reassemble the whole, two works had to be done, first :
    - A ) change internal gears of the main head ... they are plastic, and they are going to break.
There are lots of chinese vendors who offers spare parts ... also take exact lenght of the plastic spacers that are located into the main head. It' s better ( for me ) change them with metal spacers, you can built up them by your self, but you need the lathe functioning ... so at the moment just take their exact lenght, they then will be changed "next time" you open the main head ... but in the mean time ... build up and store them for the future !!! ( and get some metal gaskets for compensation ... 0,1 mm thick ... )
Also change the two main ( and also minor ) bearings ... people changes them with better types, opened, but then they need to be continuosly oiled, and also a bit adjustment of the spacers is needed .. i preferred leave inside the basic ones, never had problems ...
    - B ) be sure the saddle moves freely on the guides. Of course you have to assume the guides are ok, so at the beginning tight a bit the saddle, and adjust with very fine sand paper from underside, till the saddle moves freely ... test for all the leght ...
The guides are normally ok, but underside are not so factory adjusted ...
A lot of oil is suggested, when doing this job ...
