Give all the credit to this celtics team. Starting with great coaching, they were composed from start to finish in this series. And they showed the "mighty" Nets who the better team really was -- not only in terms of basketball but in terms of character and determination too.
and this helps illustrate why being mad at star PLAYERS for losing to superior TEAMS is silly (not saying that's what you're doing)
As good as KD and Kyrie are, they didn't do anything for the team. And the team didn't have the belief in and support of one another like the Celts have. Celts have more chemistry but whose fault is that? KD and Kyrie got too big for their breeches, as them old folks say lol

Being a lifelong Celts fan I have to say Nic Claxton missing his first 10 free throws hurt the Nets real bad. Not saying he should have made them all but that's a 10 point swing! Whenever he had the ball, the Celtics fouled him almost immediately knowing he can't make a free throw. Coach Steve Nash didn't even notice what the Celts were doing to Claxton and therefore didn't make any adjustments until it was too late. A 10 point swing created by the Celtics. Excellent call by great Celtic's coaching right there. C ya Nash!!

KD has no one to blame but himself. Joining Kyrie, trading all the young players for Harden, trading Harden for bum Simmons. He signed off on all those decisions. Oh and let’s not forget in the 2019 free agency, Jimmy Butler, Kawhi, and Malcolm Brogdan were all available. KD could have chosen to team up with any of those guys or even multiple players but no he choses Kyrie. A guy who has won nothing without lebron, failed miserably as the worst leader in Boston and Cleveland (pre-lebron).

The Nets got screwed by both Harden decisions tbh. They traded 4 first rounders, levert & Allen to get harden. then ended up with 2 picks, role players and an expensive softy in Ben Simmons.
It's also fair to point out that this will indirectly lead to another superteam. With 2 allstars already on cavs and lakers burning their future, it becones inevitable for the fat faced lebron to return again with 2 stars.

Watching Celtics vs Mavs on 3/13 was like watching an NBA finals game, both teams looked hungry and disciplined. Yet both teams have flown under the radar just like they've done all year. As much as I'd like to see the Bucks repeat, I really think there's a very good chance we'll see a Celtics/Mavs finals this year.

Pros to Shaq but Shaq actually went out & competed every chance he got Brooklyn had a part time player. When KD was out with injuries the Nets tried compensating & making moves to fill gaps & holes cause Kyrie was part time. Missing 30+ games is alot. This forced players into roles they're not used to then switched to different roles once Kyrie came back. Do you know how much team chemistry & balance that throws off? When 1 man is making himself bigger then the Team that tells all you need to know. I would hate to be on a Team where my Teammate thinks he better then the rest of us & got special treatment by the franchise. Why the hell would I bust my ass & try to earn minutes if this part time dude just gonna come back & take it? He's great, he's a star right? So he should be our leader & come in & set an example. Ultimately Kyrie is the reason why this Nets underachieved this Season.
