      could've won if cj didn't lose the ball in crucial moment tho. pels were trailing 3pt, with the ball in their possession, and then cj turned it over. his 3pt % been terrible the entire series as well. he's a good player to have for regular season but definitely not a playoff player. remember when dame was playing his heart out and then cj single handedly lost the deciding game by stepping out of the line for no reason? he will, somehow, find a way to mess up his team's hard work in critical moments

      He was the Suns Assistant Coach last season. He brought what he learned from the Suns' culture and brought it over to the Pelicans. As a Suns fan, I already know that the Pelicans love playing for him and each other.

Willie was a Suns assist coach same as Ime was a Nets assist coach and nets got swept and suns had to fight hard. Pelicans are much better than their record.

    I picked Phx to win this before any of the series started….but hats off to N’Orleans.
    The Pels played their asses off…all heart, max effort. Honestly hope they keep improving. Think they on to something with Ingram coming in to his own and bringing McCollum in has turned out to be great so far.

      Lol bringing in CJ has not turned out great in the post season. He had 1 good game in this series vs suns. If CJ actually played like we thought he would, pelicans could have won this series in 6 games.

    Amazing series. I was worried about playing the Pels, they have talent up and down this roster. Zion needs to get off his ass and play hard for this team. They will be contenders the next couple years if he's serious

      Zion unfortunately is not Ben Simmons. Ben should've been traded earlier, luckily he didn't, and Sixers got Harden, but could've gotten better pieces for Ben. Zion is a lot humbler, and while conditioning is an issue for big players, a good culture like right now for the Pels might be helpful to get Zion up and running and healthier. Trade him now, and if he ends up an Embiid situation, that's a ton of regrets. He's still worth the risk, unlike Ben who wouldn't listen to shooting advice from Kobe.

    Haha I get what chuck is sayin but the way he said it was essentially "stop being hurt."
    As a life long Suns fan this series has opened my eyes to the impressive talent that the Pelicans are working with. Once they work out the kinks in their team strategy they are going to be a force to be reckoned with. I never paid much attention to the Pelicans this or any season, but bet I will be next season. It's always gonna be Suns first to me but when the Pels play anyone who isn't the Suns I'll be rooting for em.

    So, Zion couldn’t play 15 minutes per game. Just his presence on the court would’ve been enough to keep the double teams away from BI and 3J. I mean the guy is throwing down 360 for fun. I’m sure he could’ve average 10-15 pts.

    I think another example of a "point guard" that nobody talks about is Draymond Green. When he takes the ball up, he'll make the pass TO MAKE THE PASS to someone else. He wants to push the ball up the floor and use his speed advantage against traditional bigs to run them off the floor.
