Spooky stuff that they all relate to and just nod but nobody questions it.

No, he isn't the real deal. The entire story is a hoax to make money (which Travis and pretty much everyone connected to the case did). Travis has never passed a polygraph that was witnessed and/or reviewed by objective experts. In fact, he failed every polygraph that wasn't done in secret and just claimed he took by either himself or people benefiting from his story.

I totally can relate. I was chased by a UFO while I was driving home from my parents house. I had my baby in the car and I was absolutely terrified. It was about 30 feet above my car and followed me for miles. I stopped at a vacant military kiosk hoping that I could get help but it was 10:10pm and no one was there. While I was stopped, the UFO hovered over me. There was no noise at all. I was crying and rolled down my window telling them to leave me alone. I then decided to head back to my parents house because it would take me a lot longer to get home, they lived in the country, about a half hour from my town. It followed me almost all the way back to their house, again, matched my pace about 30 to 20 feet above me until it finally veered off and flew back over the hills. Scariest thing that ever happened to me. And really, I don't even care if people don't believe me. Like you said, what's in it for people to lie about these experiences? People may think you're crazy but truly, I think it's crazy to not believe that there is abundant life in our universe and they are curious just like we are about life on other planets.

That is so traumatizing. I saw UFO with my mom while we were driving during the day. We were driving home from my work and we saw it. And whenever we pointed at it, it would hide behind a cloud or a Pole disappear. Then it would reappear. Was really freaky by the time we got home. We still saw it and we even had some neighbors come out because we were standing. They were pointing at it.

My biggest question when I see stories like these….is, with all of the improvement I technology, cameras on cars, security cameras, etc….where is the evidence? There would be security cameras at the vacant military kiosk…everyone has a phone with a camera. What about the other people on the road that night?
I just feel like, over time, if these events were really happening, we would have some type of convincing evidence by now.
      Just my opinion.

The movie "Fire in the Sky" released around 1991 or 1992 was based on this story. I was only about 12 years old at the time, and completely obsessed with this flick. Saw it at the theaters. It was completely terrifying. Robert Patrick who had recently played the T-1000 in Terminator 2 played one of the poor blue collar loggers barely making ends meet for his wife and kids, and having to deal with explaining to Travis's family and community what happened and how Travis disappeared. But the horrifying scenes were the parts showing what Travis experienced after being taken by the UFO. I recommend everyone check out this movie. This was during the early 90s when shows about UFOs, ghosts, Loch Ness monster, Bigfoot, paranormal activities, Unsolved Mysteries were really popular. I watched a lot of those shows as a kid, and this story was right up my alley.

I’ve had a similar experience and I wanna keep it brief. In my old home (moved into a new one about a decade ago) Me and my father were having a bonfire I think around November, 2011-12. It was like any other night, enjoying this fire and looking at the night sky, this night in particular the sky was a pinkish purple colour, the kind where it’s not pitch black but it’s definitely night time. We were looking at the fire and sky just chatting away letting the fire die down before we went off to sleep. It was at this point I noticed the top half of the sky was pure black, like pitch black, no stars no light, just dark. I looked up even higher and thats when I noticed the sheer size of this darkness in the sky, based on its size I’d say it was at least 50-70 feet above us. Now where I was was standing my house was behind me, the darkness stretched over the house, it was fucking huge. At this point I’d asked my dad what that darkness was. And his reaction told me it wasn’t normal, both of us mouth the words “what is that”. Now this is where it changes, about 30-40 seconds after we’d seen this round darkness in the sky, boom, a blue light on the far right side lights up, than green, right next to that, followed by a red and the same sequence continued around the entire outer edge of this huge dark circle in the sky. Red Green & Blue lights. It was at this point me and my dad knew this was something out of this world, we both just stared, speechless. After staring at this thing above our heads for about 1-2 minutes, I noticed light escaping what looked like cracks of some kind of door in the center, I remember the lights becoming progressively brighter, and than. Nothing. Me and my dad have no memory after that, the latest memory I have after that night is me waking up in the top bunk of my old bed, early morning, regular day.
Idk what you might take from this, I don’t know how to explain it any better.
Me and my dads story are identical, we saw the same thing. We were standing like 3 feet from each other.
Every time write or talk about it I get the shakes. We can’t explain how or why this happened. It was just there, above us, directly above us. We were stood in the center of this craft. It only lit up when we saw it. When we saw them, they saw us.
Whatever happened that day, whatever memory was lost. I would love an explanation.
I didn’t write this for fame or likes. This is a true story.
(Edit, If you must know. We are based in the UK.)
I’ve had other experiences and strange sightings
But they don’t compare to this.
And to this day, if I ever think I was just going crazy
I ask my dad, and he still confirms it was real.
I cannot explain it any better than I have.

His dead body was found on top of a huge pile of powdered coal, and he had burns on his neck, head and ears, and had appeared to have been treated with some kind of salve, which has never been identified.

Think of the way we humans sedate and then examine and experiment on life forms that aren’t as capable as us. We humans think quite highly of ourselves to believe (those that do) that we are alone in our universe. I have a gut feeling there are entities that exist here on our own planet, in our oceans, that perform very similar processes on unsuspecting humans.

The thing that always gets me with these abduction stories is what’s the purpose??? Like 1) what’s the reason for the abductions 2) do they pick are the abductees picked at random or preplanned because there are some cases where the abductee were taken from their beds while sleeping next to their partners but sometimes the partners are left undisturbed and 3) are there different breeds of these extraterrestrials that have different intentions??? Because most of the time you have cases like this where the person is returned mostly unharmed but then you had the cases like “the body on the reservoir”, Johnathan Lovette, and Zigmund Adamski where the abductees are returned dead and horribly mutilated similar to the cattle mutilations….so many questions that only the abductees have the answers to that we’ll probably never understand or won’t know until they decide they want to finally make mass contact. As a child, these stories used to scare the crap outta me and the ones like the 3 where the abductees died still do terrify me but now I’m more so curious than scared. I do hope that in my lifetime that we’ll finally have a mass contact event…. We’ll as long as it’s a peaceful one but seeing as tho they have the technology and advancement to overtake us, if they were malevolent, they would’ve been took us over by now

However, what I can tell you for certain is that something very strange and life-changing DID happen to Mr. Walton that day and although my opinion doesn't matter for much, what I will say is that I'd bet my last dollar that he and his crew were, and still are for that matter, telling the complete truth.

Right after looking into it though... there's too many indications that this was done to evade a contract and get money from the whole ordeal. The reason why they all succeeded their initial lie detector tests (which in today's standards, is considered to be a wildly inaccurate mean of questioning anyway) is that the interviewer didn't ask anything about the actual abduction, they were asked about killing Travis, which obviously wasn't true.

If you try to defend the credibility of polygraphs, the second source provided states he later failed a polygraph when stating he was abducted by aliens

The leap between the two is often ignored, but it's quite the difference between the two. Personally I feel there is more to this Earth than we know, and the alien encounters might be something unexplained by science yet, or government scientific tests -- have you noticed the rate of UFO reporting is so much different between the US and Mexico? When I was a kid our family doctor who was a doctor during WWII, told us about his time working on the Queen Mary. He crossed the Atlantic for 3 years.
He was a heavy smoker and drinker because of one thing.
He was out on deck middle of the night,in early 1942. They were running black out so no lights on this huge ship. But it was a full moon.
He said it wasn't uncommon for Whales to swim along next to the boat, and you could hear them singing to each other.
So this one night he's talking to an English sailor on deck, and they hear whales screaming. They walk to the rail of the ship, and they can see the water is boiling. The sailor rings a alarm bell, thinking that it's a submarine coming to the surface. But it wasn't. Doc said it looked like a Giant Horseshoe crab, but 3x wider than the Queen Mary. He said she was covered in lights from at least 6 ships around it. It made no sound what so ever. Then lifted above the waves, and flew off into the heavens.
He said I asked one of the sailors, is that one of yours? (Meaning British)
He said the sailor was white with fear, and said I bloody well hope so. Because if it's theirs? We're all good and fucked!
He said it was the only time the QM didn't dock in NY harbor.
She went to Boston and no one was aloud off the ship until they had been interviewed and told,It never happened!,
He told us this in 1985 after Reagan shorted his SS check. He said they want to keep my money? I don't have to keep their secrets!
He was such a great guy.

Nobody even remembers getting up or running down the long dock! When we finally got home there were cops and my parents, aunt and uncles were yelling at us asking where the hell we were?! We were confused and told them we were just laying in the boat and why they were freaking out? We were all gone for 6 hours.... 6 friggen hours! I've read/heard bout this when I was 10-11. And I asked my parents about it because we use to live in Snowflake back when I was 4-5. What they told was yup we remember it very well because apparently we lived in the same apartment building as Travis did when this all went down!! So I'm like WOW! And I think that was the moment i just dove into my paranormal studies. Fast forward few years, we move back to Snowflake and I start my freshman year of high school there. And In my junior year I signed up for guitar class. So for our final exam we had to pair up to perform a song. So I got paired up with this freshman white boy named Clifton. We started on our song and our first practice session I went to his house and I met his mom and siblings. So there we were jamming away in his room. Then we heard his mom say clif your dad's home he wants to do ...his chore or something like that. So Clif leaves the room and I'm just jammin out. Then I hear his dads voice say hey you're pretty good. I look up and theres Travis standing in the doorway listening to me!! Haha I INSTANTLY knew who he was but kept my cool. And we talked bout guitars because he played guitar too. After few minutes Clif comes back in and Travis says was nice to meet ya Jay and walked out. And I turned to Clif and say he's your dad?! And he's like yea, why? Lmao! And from that day Clif and I have been very good buddies. And as for me, I'm 100% a believer in Travis's incident/abduction since I was 10-11 years old. Yup Yup! HAGD thx for staying true to his story. AWESOME job!

  • @anomaly395
    @anomaly395 2 ปีที่แล้ว +791

What I get from this story is that it sounded like they either picked him up to study him or they picked him up to heal him after realizing they accidentally injured him with their ship. And once he started freaking out they recognized how scared he was and either put on human costumes or sent out these human-like things they created to calm him down before dropping him back on earth. They didn’t seem hostile at all.
Edit: okay, I got a lot of people thinking I’m trying to paint them as saints so let me paste my reply to another comment to make things clear:
“… And before you say “then why are you trying so hard to imply that they’re good? You’re the one applying our culture to them”, I’m not. I just said they weren’t hostile, not that they’re these saints with a moral compass. The whole thing *is* that we don’t know. We can’t jump to conclusions on either side. Maybe they’re good, maybe they’re bad, maybe they’re just neutral, who knows. I’m just making the observation based on what’s been given to us, and from the events described, the bottom line is that they don’t *seem* to have malicious intentions. But that’s not to say they have good ones either. For what reasons and what exactly were they doing to him? I don’t know.”
While I’m open to it (as everyone should be), I don’t *fundamentally* believe that this particular story is real, I’m just making an observation on the alien’s behaviors within this story, real or not.

Had a HUGE argument with my stupid ex when I stated that sedating wild animals, weighing them, drawing blood samples, etc then turning them back out with a radio collar was exactly the same as alien abduction

Yes I agree. Doing that to animals is abduction or even kidnapping. It's wrong. People and animals should not be treated like that

Except that animals have seen humans before , especially domesticated farm animals ; they know they’re natural to the world that they live in… Whereas being sucked up into a space ship and being experimented upon by aliens from another world … …is very different….BUT….That being said….animals that have had no human contact whatsoever…I agree, it would be EXACTLY like an alien abduction.

Travis said later in life although he didn't say it in every interview that he thinks the craft accidentally killed him. Then they floated his dead body up on the ship to bring him back to life. The way he filled his friends certainly felt like he was dead. Later on Travis said they accidentally killed me and they gave me something to start my heart back
