I’m from Austin, giant Spurs fan, and I’ve met lots of international Spurs fans online. Particularly French and Argentinians because of Tony Parker and Manu. I love it personally, I’m happy that since we have the smaller Central Texas market we also get some international pull. I think the Spurs will be a great fit. He will have Pop to coach him up and help him develop and he will have Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobli, and Tony Parker to help mentor him. He’s gonna have the whole fanbase’s love and support too.

I think the NBA orchestrated this whole thing. They knew what was best for their multi billion dollar organization as well as for this kid. If he goes to Detroit it’s an absolute disaster for everyone involved including the fans. So him going to the spurs was not a coincidence. Let’s just be real.
