Yeah, I totally hear you. I had refused to watch the elections, and was trying to avoid finding out until I got up today, but as it was, I accidentally found out while on my Instagram checking notifications last night. What are my notifications was a video message from Donald trump, and I thought I was careful not to follow any political people on my dog's Instagram but I'm not sure. Anyway, I went ahead and watched it because it was directly him speaking, and even when he said "we're doing really well," I figured he was just trying to keep our spirits up, whatever the situation was. Then I had the gumption to check the comments section in that video and found out from a commenter that he was considerably ahead of kamala. I was like oh great, I was trying not to know yet but at least it was looking hopeful. But based on 4 years ago, I knew it wasn't over until it was over. So after I see that he hadn't reached 270 and that was the winning point, I try and avoid watching it going forward, and then while still putzing around on instagram, I get an alert pop up saying that Trump was going live with a victory speech. He hadn't even reached 270 yet, but he was only three points away from it so I figured they had already called it anyway. I definitely had to watch that, because I had spent a day and a half trying to prepare myself for Kamela to get it and I think I'm _still_ trying to process that he actually got it!

Yeah, I totally hear you. I had refused to watch the elections, and was trying to avoid finding out until I got up today, but as it was, I accidentally found out while on my Instagram checking notifications last night. What are my notifications was a video message from Donald trump, and I thought I was careful not to follow any political people on my dog's Instagram but I'm not sure.
Anyway, I went ahead and watched it because it was directly him speaking, and even when he said "we're doing really well," I figured he was just trying to keep our spirits up, whatever the situation was. Then I had the gumption to check the comments section in that video and found out from a commenter that he was considerably ahead of kamala. I was like oh great, I was trying not to know yet but at least it was looking hopeful. But based on 4 years ago, I knew it wasn't over until it was over. So after I see that he hadn't reached 270 and that was the winning point, I try and avoid watching it going forward, and then while still putzing around on instagram, I get an alert pop up saying that Trump was going live with a victory speech. He hadn't even reached 270 yet, but he was only three points away from it so I figured they had already called it anyway. I definitely had to watch that, because I had spent a day and a half trying to prepare myself for Kamela to get it and I think I'm _still_ trying to process that he actually got it!

Therefore, about 1/6 of the population appears to have genuinely ost their minds. However, it shows that about 5/6 of us are still sane, even if over half of us have lost hope in our right to choose as Americans when they voted for Trump and somehow ended up with Biden... Given that over 111 million people lost hope during the 2020 election after Biden somehow won, it tells me that the election had to have been rigged if over 1/3 of the population had voted for Trump and he still didn't succeed.
You know both sides are bought and controlled by the same people, right? And by not understanding that, they've already defeated you and us as a population.

Because I live in a blue state, I'm surrounded by idiots, so I was really nervous going into the election. But I did notice the significant increase in Trump supporters in my state, so I was hoping that we might turn our state red again. We were oh so close! Less than 50k votes away from turning red. I think we would have turned red if everyone who supported Trump would've got out and voted! I was disappointed with how many people told me they didn't vote, because "why bother? Our state is blue no matter what." I wonder how many others said the same thing? I just don't understand how so many people who live on the land that comprised the Thirteen Original Colonies can be SO PRO- TYRANNY!!
