- I held a poll and you all opted for a step by step guide for Gna on GMGOW. Here is a detailed breakdown on how to defeat her along with my controller overlay so that you can perform the moves with the right timing. I also explain all of her attacks in detail. And yes, my battle lasted 70 seconds. You'll still be able to defeat her under 90 seconds if you follow this guide!

My problem is I can’t get the Immolation full so that I can reburst the realm shift
I’ll do it part for part all the way up to the pulling out the blades and pressing L1 and 0 to initiate the realm shift. But even by the time I finish the combo I don’t have immolation to restart the shift or burn my blades with immolation I always have to hit her a few more times after the initial realm shift to do the immolation realm shift

Bro. I defeated every single enemy even the king with just skill and practice. None of the perks etc.. but when it came to the queen. Impossible. No hope. Gave up. Cried. I needed that 100%.

Holy crap man this is amazing, I followed your other builds and it worked like a charm. I completed GMGOW mode with your build but I was still having trouble with GNA but managed to defeated her barely. I saved the fight so now I will try it again with this strategy.

Finally did it, not following your strategy but it helped me a lot!, I did just some adjustments: I was on my ng+ so my stats were higher, i🎉upgraded to plus level axe skills, and for armor I used berkser arms and chest, but for wrist I use steinbjorn for defense, also spam the nine realms grip for the axe

First off I just want to say thank you so much!!! For your help I followed your guide for this battle and finally, finally won against GNA on GMGOW. This was the last battle I needed for my platinum trophy!!🏆🏆 and I did it. It took me two days of mastering the combo and the timing and I never gave up and I did it to perfection in my winning battle. You just forgot one attack. When she rushes in your direction, she can either attack you with one wing, which you showed on the video, or swing both or her wings, which you must dodge, which I think it's harder to do, or block the attack.

Oh boy, I defeated the king on GMGOW, using the survival set and Asgard, Svalteiheim and Vaneheim set amulet 😅 9+ hours my wrist and hands were so sorrow I had to go to doctor. Today I went play for the GNA, I said to myself I am out of it. Still I saw your video. If I use the survival set. I break my wrist again ? Better I go with this rights thank you 🙏 😅

She's a very interesting fight. The most powerful valkyrie with the most amount of moves and abilities I faced. Took me about 3 tries. I could never remember all the things to do in succession though so I just deal with them accordingly.
But for me, Kraki was harder to beat than Gna

I’ve done exactly as you explained for the build but my strength is still at 478 only🤷🏽♂️ Everything upgraded however the only thing that might be different is the little added perks under the skills (Little red, yellow, blue icons) as I don’t have all of them updated to add damage perks. Is that the reason? Def need help.
Did you get the Yggdrasil Dew and complete the Across the Realms quest? It gives you +5 to all stats? Make sure to upgrade all your Armor and weapon handles as well. Adding mods on the skill tree doesn’t increase your stats

@@akhafasu I am curious too. The king has two unforgivable one-shot moves 1) float in the air 2) blue ring. The first requires you to use axe or spear. The second requires you to be close (or use a specific shield to dash). These two moves limit your gear choices greatly. On the other hand Gna is just a traditional boss.

And the blue ring attack where he smashed his weapons together need you to double tap L1
Gna has two similar moves. One where she rises and throws a rock at you (attack with sonic arrow) and another where she does Sigil flame attack (attack with Sigil arrow)
Excellent strategy. Definitely got a little fortunate she didn’t do the air stomp once but I’m assuming that’s easy for you anyway. Been trying for hours On give me no mercy. Wish you would have commented on the dodging of the air stomp because you almost have to delay I have second before you roll. If you roll right away when you hear her jump up, she stops you every time. It’s tough to get used to the timing and she pretty much kills you instantly if she gets you with that.

Every single time I get her low enough she just spams that attack constantly and I’m unable to dodge after the second “for Asgard” shit

Hey man, i've been trying this method but something is odd. This is my first playthrough, i have the exact same runes/armour set/weapon pieces as you and im also playing in GMGOW but the weird part is that my Immolation meter is not building as fast as yours and due to that i cannot make the same combo as you. What am I missing? I've collected everything, Gna is my final boss before 100% the game :(
You need to go to the skill tree and add mods. These mods aren’t computer mods just what they’re called in game. To unlock them you have to use a certain moves a number of times. Best is to go to Niflheim and use these moves numerous times. This will unlock the mod slot for that move where you can then assign things like extra damage, momentum or stun. Hope this helps. If you need more info, let me know
Am I just playing a different game? I try to do your start and never goes the way yours does. I get attacked almost instantly so I can’t do the R1 and square combo. When I try to dodge any attack I still get hit most of the time unless I roll away. Shield doesn’t come up half the time when I try to parry. Am I playing a different game?
No sir. I believe you’re playing the same game. I think all you need to do is work on your timings. It took me a lot of practice to get the sequence down. If you need help over SharePlay I’d be more than happy to help :)
Do you have strategy for the amateur player? the type that can't do these fancy moves? What would you recommend for a defensive buiild that would make it difficult to kill Kratos. I am just not that good

Defeat those werewolves in Vanaheim Crater area. Save before hand. Also, you can check the codex to see which enemies give beast bones
I wish I knew her tell for when she does the spin/blender attack. That’s the one that keeps ruining my no-damage runs.

What is your reasoning for using sigil arrows instead of sonic?
Sigil build up status and can lead to explosions that do extra damage. Sonic arrows build up enemy stun. Sigil with Vanaheim amulets is very good

So question also thank u for the vid refer, when u hold L1 and R1 with Square with the spear wouldnt that call out Freyas runic cos that’s confusing to me how it didn’t
If you’re talking about her arrows, then it’s just a press. The only time I hold square is to do her Runic Summon right after I perform Kratos’ axe runic attack
@@akhafasu yeah I watched closer at the buttons and saw, but my problem is the immolation realm shift with blades after using the first real shift before it ends to do the immolation and restart the shift I don’t ever have the immolation

I'm confused, same armor maxed out my strength is in the 300's. Video shows 500+. What am I missing. I've picked up all the dew I can and completed quests

I got it with this build out spam. You kinda have to be lucky with timing I think, sometimes I could stack others she jumped quick. Really important to hold square while doing the heavy ax runic. I forgot to equip blades before going into relm shift and still got her
Also why in this build if I get hit it's a two shot kill?
The Berserker Cuirass has the skill Soulless Warrior, which is activated when you use a relic. It increases your strength significantly but if you get hit during that time, you take a lot more damage as well.
@@akhafasu ah yeah figures, it's crazy I learned more how to play this game in the endgame than during the actual game! I never played gow4 so maybe some crossover?

A note on her Wing Strike Charge attack: Gna has two versions, one where she drags her wings to her left and the one you showed where she stabs forward. The first version can only be blocked and the second version can only be dodged.
The catch? The startup for the move is so fas that you won’t know which version it is until the last millisecond and the red ring shows up waaaay too late. It’s a 50-50; I can’t begin to tell you how bullshit that move is and how many times I’ve died to it. My bet is they didn’t play test this fight enough on this difficulty.

Your permafrost meter is increasing way more than mine. Is it because if momentum?
Have a look at the skill tree. You can add mods to different skills to increase things like permafrost or immolation.

@@akhafasu yes. But forget it I killed her with my skill, but you helped me really much with the necklace enchantments and with other things so i wore the best armour for defence and health and tried my best. I got her after a looooooooong time

I prefer the previous one (one month before this one) "Step by Step Guide - Gna under 90 seconds" because of it's stats including Vitality 145 as opposed to this one with only Vitality 74.
Well that depends whether you want to deal good damage on a short amount of time or take your time with the battle

Dude I could have beat her several times but it's when she does that light summon from the sky she does 2 things actually, she flies to the side then either she will lunge at you with the red circle stab that you can dodge or she'll do her lunge and wing swipe which you can't dodge because her reach will catch you and that shit is so unpredictable which one she'll choose

How do you dodge the Wing Strike Charge? it's way too fast.
Just keep moving when you see her approaching. It locks into you most recent position.
