Well, Wuhan is my hometown and nearly all my family and friends are there. Fortunately I have never heard of them being affected by the virus . Even it’s a hard time for being quarantined inside their house, but they still feel lucky and glad of all the endeavors which the government has done.The lives there are quite in order during the lockdown cause the daily supplies can be provided and the medical system is functioning quite efficiently. So I really hope that we can stop the bias and face the problem critically .
What’s funny is that WuHan is pretty much the safest place ever now, because nobody can come in or go out, everybody there has been cured or has passed on

Seeing her so positive in the beginning and noticing that it was a 9 minute video, I was worried we were going to witness her spirits breaking as time went on or something. I'm glad she maintained an upbeat attitude throughout the entire ordeal. I had an aunt and uncle who flew back to China right before this all broke out, though they don't live in Wuhan they stayed put for majority of their time in China. They came back to the US in February, stayed in (self) quarantine for two weeks and then the next thing you know, they're reliving this nightmare but now in the US.

Houston, Tx. Currently Harris County is quarantined everyone unless you are getting essentials or your job is essential. Many businesses have closed and many have lost their jobs. I am blessed that my job is an essential but everyone have their hours cut and therapists had HUGE change. I don’t go out unless it’s for groceries or my job. Luckily, the last time I was around a “group” of people was my birthday. Luckily no one from my party was infected or is currently infected with the virus. Everyone stay safe!

It's very similar to my college setting. When I was learning mandarin, my professor only spoke mandarin. When I was learning American Sign Language, we were not allowed to speak! It's difficult at first, but over time you learn a few things! From my understanding, to be an English teacher overseas, you don't need to learn the language (according to a co-worker who taught English in Japan for 2 years).

No lockdown here in Japan. I'm not in Tokyo, but Tokyo is now going to be locked down on weekends. Events and public shared spaces are all cancelled here in my town. Japan is going to largely start returning to normal soon... except for Tokyo of course. The spread is getting much worse there because of how densely populated it is. I think that's a big reason why it's just Tokyo that is locking down on weekends. Even though there's no lockdown here, people are trying to avoid unnecessary trips out (particularly elderly people). In my part-time job, we have to scrub the tables and vending machines after each customer leaves.
China is getting so much better because they are actually staying inside. Americans on the other hand, are going out in public and places with big crowds and just keep spreading it even more.

I've one day left of my 7 day isolation, I've not been feeling that ill however this is the longest I have been sick with anything in my life.
