Thanks for another interesting vid. Just a couple of handy tips from us. With respect to the shower head falling off. We wrap ours in a soft cloth and lay it on the shower floor. No problems with it potentially falling and cracking the shower floor. With respect to dust getting in the door vent. Bunnings sell a black rubber checker plate. Also heavy duty Velcro. Place the Velcro right around the outside edges of the door vent. Cut the rubber checker plate to match the edges of the velcro. Stick the fluffy side of velcro onto the rubber checker plate and fix over vent. We have never had any dust intrusion and we don’t have a dust pressure system in our van. Good luck.

Your maths is spot on 😂. Maybe just chuck a fake smoke alarm or an indoor speaker to cover up the original smoke alarm hole .

01:00 corrugations are always different on "up and back". The killer is always wrong tyre pressures either way, but also wind and amount of traffic, primarily going in one direction.
02:25 probably a sullage pond from minor mining works or a dump point for road works, either way I wouldn't' dip my little toe into it..
02:50 place a cam buckle strap around the tyre, over the straps.
33:10 take the shower off the mount and wrap in a towel on the floor.
36:15 you seem to have a couple of squirrels on your chests - good upgrade!
The AC is also good for cold weather to stop a lot of condensation in the evening; get the gas heater going overnight and run the AC in the morning to 'dry out' the interior.
Can't wait for you to be featured on 10 questions from ADU!

Tip for sealing the air vent in bottom of door. We use a piece of rubber backed carpet underlay in the slot between the flyscreen and outer door. Because it's flexible when the door is closed/locked it squeezes tight and works like a bought one. 👍 Great vid again, stay safe.

Thanks for this, key point is that shit will break, it’s just the cost of the experience. I saw a post on a FB page where a guy in a brand new van broke a cupboard door and had a lose microwave in Bamiga and was trashing the hell out of his manufacturer saying they were crap. Buy a tent if that’s your pain threshold.

Another tip. The cooktop lid- I put a larger square of the rubberised drawer liner under the lid to buffer the vibrations. Dont leave any baking dishes in the oven. Will damage the element and break the oven door. Put the shower rose in a Enjo mit and put down on the shower floor. Some cable cable tie to the rail. You will be finding red dust forever. ❤

Well done on the Cape trip . One suggestion re your shower head , remove it and put in a bucket or on the shower floor . We always remove it , just habit now regardless of where we go . And yes cover your door vent be it with tape or whatever you choose , makes a huge difference to dust levels . All in all you’ve done so well with your Cape trip , congratulations .

Tip for the dirty gear bag: if you don't already try crossing the straps at the back of the tyre (clip top left to bottom right and vice versa) helped to keep mine on my rear wheel a bit better, still slid a bit but managed to hang on 👍 Can't wait to see what is next for you lot!
