Unfortunately, I doubt this one will be available then. At least you have another make and model to add to your wish list if you didn't know about it already 🤠
Thanks Orlando! This one is so comfortable on the inside, it would even work as a houseboat for those that have no plans on cruising. I'm sure it will sell quickly.
if i had to say something bad about this yacht, it would be the lack of food storage. Also additional cabin space for crew members. other wise, i love it because it has everything you need in a working yacht
I thought this one did well for storage personally. I've seen similar size trawlers put an outdoor chest freezer either on the flybridge or aft cockpit. This one has the space for that if you wanted.
I recently subscribed to this channel with the recommendation that others do the same. I still appreciate your thorough yet quick-paced reviews. One thing I seemed to overlook is that there are some glaring examples of items that you make absolutely no mention of. I understand that you are reviewing yachts of varying sizes, ages and prices but there's nothing wrong with a reminder (or two) of those circumstances. Otherwise, some of your offerings may appear lacking in maintenance or value as you open hatches with obvious rust or greasy fingerprints in plain view. Thank you for an overall good review of yachts/trawlers.

Salene is on that short list of boat manufacturers where if I get offered to film one, the answer is yes before checking pics and specs etc. Great boats!
"Dockside queen" 😂 I'm just learning about boats, yachts, ships, and all things sea-faring, but now I know what to call sea-shy, shore-hugging craft! Thanks for another interesting review - this one is definitely NOT one of those. What a capable beauty. Agreed with the other comments about the master berth, but I'd think refitting with an island queen may be pretty doable, and besides, the V-berth that's there certainly looks wide enough! Really well-maintained vessel, props to the owners. Oh, and the engine room was surprisingly accessible for a boat of this size IMO.

Nice boat----had a Sea Ray 340 sedan bridge and let me tell you, that 43 trawler sure is sweet. We were thinking of going live aboard and from what you showed on that 43 trawler I would very much have considered that over my sedan bridge. That boat is maintained by a loving captain and his first mate----you can definitely tell!!
Thanks Norman. I enjoy sports cruisers like your Sea Ray, but for liveaboard use trawlers are the way to go in my opinion. So much space and comfort for their size.
I'm working on final edits for one that is best of both worlds for you. A Sea Ray 480 Motor Yacht. It has the speed of a sports cruiser, but accommodation of a trawler. Should be live on my channel in the next couple of days 😉

Nice Coast line Boat. Sir. Just curious as there are normally comments re Air conditioning. What about Heating.. You remarked the engine has col😅d weather start Block Heater ?
Unfortunately, I don't have access to the full spec sheet now that she is sold. I can tell you that she had a solid construction, with hot and cold AC, and both lower helm and flybridge. This one would be just as happy cruising in Alaska as she is in Florida.
Congratulations on your upcoming retirement. This would be a perfect liveaboard cruiser for your retirement goals. Island hop in the Caribbean, or go tackle the Great Loop 🤠
I saw more things that I nit picked than I said that's clever idea. The main owners cabin didn't have a night stand for a cuppa in the morning. Not a very good reading light. No Full size frig and separate washer/dryer. Didn't hear any mention of an AC Or water maker. Since it does have a two thousand mile range. But a good coastal cruiser. East or west coast.
Sorry Wayne that this one didn't tick all the boxes for you. I can confirm this one is fully air conditioned and worked like a champ when I was onboard. A lot of trawlers opt for a single washer dryer as not only is it less space, but less weight as well. As to fridge freezer, there is plenty of deck space in the aft cockpit and on the flybridge you could easily fit an outdoor fridge or freezer.

That's a Solo boat, not a Selene. They're distinguished by the island galley and unique second stateroom arrangement. They were the first few boats built by Howard Chen before Selene.
I've heard of Solo, as one of the other Selenes I filmed raised the name Solo. They are great liveaboard tralwers for their size and money. I'd love to get onboard more of them in the future as well
I think the 43, 47, and 53 all had island queen as an option. This particular example is hull number 2. I believe the newer boats in production had queens as standard
Nicely laid out and you can see it's been well maintained...I think it's a fair price too, lots of value... @Marc Gatto I agree. I don't really understand enclosed skybridges when there is a lower helm. I'd rather have a softop flybridge so if you want enclosure, go to the pilot house.....if you want fresh air, go to the flybridge 🤠

still on the market?
She's getting a LOT of attention, but technically still available as of this afternoon. If you're interested in viewing, if you email me your contact info to Boats@GarnockReviews.com, I can have the listing broker reach out directly 😉
Great walkaround....i didn't realize these had so little forward visibility from the flybridge. That pilothouse makes up for it though!
Thanks Brian 🤠 if this was mine, I doubt I would use the flybridge much since that pilothouse is so well laid out. That being said, I love that it has the additional option of the flybridge for when you do want extra visibility / sunshine cruising 😎
Softop FB is nice. Gives you options. Lovely vessel.
@Marc Gatto I agree. I don't really understand enclosed skybridges when there is a lower helm. I'd rather have a softop flybridge so if you want enclosure, go to the pilot house.....if you want fresh air, go to the flybridge 🤠
@@GarnockReviews I've had a look at her specs. Very tidy. If my 42' sport fishing boat was sold I would be down to Florida for a look!
Is this still available?
I know it's had a lot of attention but last I knew, she was still technically available.
