    Thank you so much for this video. It helped me so much to save money at a time when everything is so expensive and the freight is cheap.

    That was quick and clean. When I did my videos on shocks I had issues on a rear shock that took extra work and a front shock where I had to repair stud threads just to remove the nut and on one of the cab shocks I had to burn it off. They had been on there a long time.

    • @DIYSEMI
      @DIYSEMI  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry to hear about those issues. I've had that happen in the past. Life is easier since I learned anti seize is my friend..lol. Going to do a cab shock video tomorrow, I have a feeling I may need a torch for those. It's a freightliner, so I should have plenty repair videos to make....lol.

      Well don't stop with just truck repair, a little variety is always good especially when starting a channel. Most viewers skip through the videos and then ask in the comments questions that I know I covered, so try to keep them short and to the point. Editing can be quite a challenge to clean up videos too. You can find free editing software but they can't handle HD and forget 4k a lot of YTubers use Final Cut Premier on Mac, I use Power Director with windows. You also need a powerful gaming computer to do anything more than short simple video editing. I spent a good year trying to find out how to do editing and I still keep it fairly simple. You can always do a part 1, 2 and 3 to keep them short and also give you more videos.

    Hi, changing my shocks now. The 2 on the front rear axle, the bottom bolt goes thru the mount and shock hole fine, but I’m having issues with the top. If one side of the bolt goes thru it’s not lining up correctly on the other side allowing it not to go thru the shock mount and shock hole. Had anyone ran across this issue? What can i do?
