It's good to see young truckers working on their own trucks. Saving money and learning about their trucks.. been trucking for 28 years. And if I can fix it why pay someone 125+ an hour to do it.
I pay 125+ an hour for someone else to do it if I make 200 an hour :p
Not to mention they charge more time then it actually takes. They will easily charge almost two hours for that

It worked for me man I am so happy. I did it myself, I did not bend my air hose I poke regular ball pen in the hose and tape it. It worked. Now will change rest of air bags. Thanks

You were right to tighten bolt at first then loosen nut a old timer taught me that trick also penatrating oil a few days before a job and last heat if needed anyway thanks for sharing your experience .

Thanks for the video. With a shifting spanner the handle should be pointing in the direction you are turning, this stops it jamming. Also cheap shifters will jam as well. This is not a negative for your video just some people don’t know this.

You should never bend your air lines like you just ruin the intergity of that line possible air leak later. All you had to do is make a plug with quick connect to seal line up cost you maybe 10 to 15 dollars to make.
Put piece of wood between the chassis, simple.

@@2lost505 he most likely means between the axle and frame... i just use a hose clamp with a vaccum boot

I have a question about Freightliner Cascadia 2016
The truck it doesn't come with airbag dumb switch inside the cab
When I need to empty the airbag I don't have switch key available
If there is any way I can add airbag switch suspension ?

Maher A All that you have to do is release the air hose from the airbag. Then clamp it so that it will not lose air. Once you clamp it it will build-up air everywhere else and raise the truck. Hopefully that helps
Maher A And yes you can at the switch but I personally never done it before.

the think making me asking about to add the airbag suspension switch keys inside the cap because I do hook and drops trailers 3 to 4 times a week and you know if I have airbag switch key inside the cab will make it easier ..

Excellent video, thank you very much, I am interested to know what the front suspension is called, since I am developing a preventive maintenance plan for a tractor very similar to yours, I have already investigated and I know that the rear suspension is Freightliner - FAS II Airliner- Suspension pneumatic axle in tandem 46,000 lb, but I would be very interested and would appreciate if someone told me what the rear suspension is called

Hey Martin, Instead of harping on him and his tools, just remember something he didn't pay 125.00 for someone else to do the work. Not to mention it's nice to see you get truck drivers know what to do on their trucks.. too many lazy truckers out there who don't do work to their trucks.
