Ben The Coin Geek
Old Pueblo Coin
Personally, I prefer the oversized PCGS holders. Plus, i can add them to my registry set. 😉
I just got my 83 & 84 GSA CC's graded. Ms64 & ms63 respectfully.
Love your vids. Keep up the good work. 😎
I agree with the grades given on the 1884s. The 64 looks like a shot 65 that got dinged for the gash on the cheek. The 63 has the look of a 63, it's nice for the grade. Lots of fuzz (err light marks) on the surfaces. It's a matter of opinion which one looks better but the grades are fine.
Neat. Maybe I'll go to the LCS this weekend and see if they have any GSA $s to check out.
Thanks for sharing the 1883-CC MS-64 PL. I just love that coin; but honestly, I am way to biased about it. 🙂
Congratulations on a beautiful Fatboy Carson City !! Definitely an outstanding coin .
Getting PL , or of course DMPL on a GSA CC bumps that price ⬆️⬆️⬆️.
You should put a link on each coin's shop website page back to the video where the coin has been featured. It can take a while to find the video for a coin in the shop, and your videos often sell the coin a lot better than the static photos on the website.
That 84 cc in 63 deserves a cac sticker. Thanks Ben.
Those are some beautiful coins ans funniest joke I ever heard you said to boot
Love the CC GSAs
Sending 15 GSA off to ANACS this fall for grading . All 82 - 84 but nice rainbows on 7 of them . ANACS $12/coin , 10 coin minimum....
Have you considered CACG ? Asking for a friend .
@@TheCoinGeek When they grade things questionable color then I buy them after you submit them to their rigorous standards Ben! Thanks for the old cent I got from OPC!! I love this channel.
I'm waiting for the list of CAC coin serial number fails/not stickered.. to show up. I've probably bought 30+ Morgan's this year that one of the previous owners sent into CAC but failed to sticker so it was sold off.
Nice group, agree fully about grading being interpretive vs. 100% scientific.
As it should be. That's the whole idea of coin collecting. The very nature of the hobby is aesthetic, not scientific.
@@fifteenbyfive *These are not Coin "Collectors"...These are Coin "Speculators"...There's a difference and it's a bit of a tragedy that so many people have either forgotten that or are choosing to ignore it*
@@Fireworxs2012 The old cliche "Coin grading is subjective." Which is true. The next question is either 1. "What's the problem?" which I still never got an answer for, or 2. "What's it subjective to?" And the answer to the 2nd question is "You, the coin collector. The one who bought that coin." If that's what we're making into a problem, this hobby is done for.
I think that the common CC mintmarked Morgans are overpriced. There are other Morgans which have lower mintages but valued a lot less. Years ago I bought the 1878, 1882, 1883 and 1884 in Unc for $275. My 1892 is in AU (ANACS Certified) and I think I paid $125 for it. The CC Morgans I'm missing are the 1879, 1881, 1885, 1889 (of course), and 1893. I happened to buy them many years ago when I had a good paying job and could afford to buy some of the better coins.
I love my GSAs, but didn't bother to get the 82-84s graded...
God what I wouldn't give to have just one of those GSA Morgans...
Great video. Thanks!
Love the video bro
Ben deserves 100k subscribers!! Like and share!
Very nice, just curious... does CAC sticker GSAs?
Yes.
NINTH!
Almost forgot... FIRST 🥇🏆😁
Hi Ben
I need an 85 CC, a nice ‘85 CC….😩
What is your price for an 1883 in a G.S.A?
❇️ Enjoy your show thanks for the info ♻️
Hey Ben
Bag marks
*I like how you tell everyone that MS65 Morgans are the only common dates worth certifying and then on your website, you have a bunch of sub-graded Morgans for sale at inflated prices....LOL....You need to stop calling this Coin Collecting. This is not Coin "Collecting"...You're a Speculator. There's a difference and it's an important one. People that can't wrap their heads around that fact are in for a rude awakening when/if they decide to "cash out"*
He's a coin dealer lol. Dealers are not the same as speculaters

2:52 🤣 It was a good joke You should tell more jokes people need to have a sense of humor
