Well I went to yr website to buy one of these systems, but the pop up to subscribe to the newsletter popped back up literally 3 seconds after I dismissed the ad... Everytime. It became annoying so I left. Guess I'll just build my own. Great idea tho. Definitely gonna solve my drill high woes.
I must be missing something. How can a standard drill index be hard to use? You take out a 1/8" bit and then it goes back in the 1/8" hole. No "hunting" required. You can also grab the drill index box and take it anywhere - it is spill proof. The KISS box looks like it would be very easy to end up with the wrong size bit in the wrong bin.
How long till it's got other things sticking out of it? Just get a Huot drawer organizer. You really need all 48 sizes on your workbench? I'd go for a little 5 hole magnetic thing to hold the most commons maybe, but the rest is just silly.
Seems like a solution looking for a problem that doesn't exist, at least for me. Plus it's a huge waste of space. You were talking this company up about how they're all about saving time, weight, etc. Well, they don't seem to care much about space, lol. And having bits exposed like that will rust/corrode them quickly. If you're a tradesman/craftsman with any experience you should be able to easily identify a drill bit by sight alone. This has a very soccer mom/arts-n-crafts/do-it-yourself feel to it with the whole color coding and size organizing, etc., lol. Come on, man.

Nice idea but very expensive drill bit set at nearly $500.00
If you go to the FastCap site, its much much cheaper than that. I'm not sure where you saw it for $500.00
@@tugnut1 Correct... most places it is $200 or a bit less.
It was on Amazon. I am in Canada so might be the steel tariffs
Make one from wood and save money Print of the labels and fit them yourself Plenty of ideas on TH-cam and Pinterest
Metric?
They do not have a metric set.
Invest in studio lights. It's too dark in this
workshop.
You got me. I have lights. I forgot to turn them on. Head slap!
