Same. I was born in 1994 and knew of this film but never watched it fully until 27 years old 😂.
I do have a vague memory of the scene with Edward being given his hands before his inventer died and freaked out at 8 years old in the dark living room because the tv volume was really loud and we couldn’t find the remote and me and my cousin was too scared to switch the tv off so left it on and shut our eyes😂

In case you were interested, I'm working on a script for an Edward Scissorhands sequel. It's called, "Edward Scissorhands 2: Edward's Special Love." In the script, Edward finally finds his true love in his new and special friend, Jennifer Peterson, who moves to Suburbia after her mother's funeral, but is badly mistreated by the parents of her new neighbors as the result of her autism and Cerebral Palsy.

Not even 9 minutes in and I had to stop. You're just a novice when it comes to films and you need to see more simpler films before you get movies like this. This is a special movie and you're not gonna get it.

I'm sorry you didn't like it. I am also confused , I actually LIKED it a lot ! But I respect your opinion however if you watch the whole video your feelings of the video may have changed? My opinion is people should watch the whole video before making a statement. I do agree with you this is a very special Movie !
